Thank you for purchasing HelioWear battery-powered heated gloves.
Please read this user manual carefully prior to operating your heated gloves
to ensure optimal performance.

Conquer the Cold:
HelioWear’N Heated Gloves deliver superior, adjustable heat for demanding
cold-weather environments. The advanced carbon heating technology is perfectly
paired with a waterproof, windproof, breathable design. With up to 10 hours of
battery life per charge, you can confidently tackle the cold.

How To Charge and Install the Batteries
Step 1: Charge Batteries
Fully charge batteries using battery charger provided. Attach batteries to
charger wires as shown (see figure 1).
Note: Batteries must be removed from gloves before charging. A red light
illuminates while charging. Greenlight Illuminates when charging is complete.
Step 2: Install Batteries Carefully connect batteries with power wire
located in the zipper pocket of each glove (see figure 2).
Step 3: Secure Batteries in Zipper Pocket
Once the power cable is attached, push batteries into the zipper pocket and
zip securely closed (see figure 3).
Note: To maintain battery life, it is recommended to recharge the battery
at least once every 6 months when not in use.
Step 4: Turn on Gloves, Adjusting Heat
To power ON, press and hold power for 2 seconds. Glove powers onto HIGH (Red
LED).
Continue pressing the power button to toggle between MEDIUM (Orange LED), LOW
(White LED), and HIGH (Red LED). To turn the glove OFF, press and hold for 2
seconds (see figure 4).
Heat Operation Levels
Battery Storage
- Turn off gloves.
- Disconnect batteries from the garment.
- Fully charge the battery(s) prior to storage.
- Keep battery(s) in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight.
- Storage temperature 0-45°C (32°F to 113°F)
Washing Instructions
- Remove Batteries while cleaning or storing gloves.
- Hand washes only using a mild detergent.
- Air dry lying flat.
- Do not machine wash
- Do not tumble dry.
- Do not bleach.
- Do not dry clean.
- Do not iron.
Limited Warranty
All Ubio Labs, Inc. (“UBIO”) products, whether sold through the Ubiolabs or HelloWear brands, (the “Product”) and their individual Covered Components (as defined herein), are protected against all manufacturing defects in material or workmanship for one (1) year after receipt of the Product by the customer (the “Warranty Period”). This Limited Warranty is only applicable to Product purchases in the United States and Canada and in accordance with the following terms:
- This Limited Warranty only applies based on purchases made directly from UBIO or through UBIO authorized resellers. Product owners must be able to provide proof of purchase for the Limited Warranty to apply.
- Only the original owner of a Product is covered by this Limited Warranty. The Warranty Period begins upon your receipt of the Product and ends immediately upon the earlier of the end of the Warranty Period or any sale or transfer of the Product to another person. Under no circumstances will the Limited Warranty apply to any subsequent owner or another transferee of the Product.
- The Limited Warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of a defective lithium-ion battery (the “Battery” ), chargers, fabrics, loops, cables, and hardware (each a “Covered Component” ).
- UBIO warrants the Covered Components to be free of manufacturing defects in materials and/or workmanship during the Warranty Period.
In the event that UBIO determines a Covered Component is defective, UBIO will, in its own discretion and as your sole and exclusive remedy: a) repair the defective Covered Component free of charge with new or refurbished parts, or b) replace the defective Covered Component with a new Covered Component.
Limitations
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear of any Product or Covered Component
- Consumables or normal wear and tear parts; or
- Any damage or defects to Covered Components resulting from failure to follow instructions in the Product owner’s manual, acts of God, accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, accidents, alterations, modification, improper assembly, installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or compatible with the Product as sold, operator error, water damage, or improper maintenance.
For the avoidance of doubt, UBIO will not be liable and/or responsible for any
damage, failure, or loss caused by any unauthorized service or use of
unauthorized parts.
The Battery is not warranted from damage resulting from power surges, use of
an improper charger, use of an improper cable, improper maintenance, or
another such misuse, normal wear, or water damage.
DETERMINING WHETHER DAMAGE OR DEFECT TO A PRODUCT OR COVERED COMPONENT IS
PROTECTED BY THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF FABIO.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED
ABOVE ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AND UBIO’S ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY
BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. RUBIO’S LIABILITY WILL NOT UNDER ANY
CIRCUMSTANCES, EXCEED THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT, NOR WILL
UBIO UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL,
SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OR LOSSES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT.
SOME STATES/PROVINCES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF
INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY
NOT APPLY TO YOU.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY HAVE
OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE/PROVINCE TO PROVINCE
TO THE EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW RUBIO DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE FOR THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY. SOME STATES/PROVINCES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
Important Safety Instructions
WARNING: When using this product. basic precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
a) Read all the Instructions before using the product
b) If you have problems sensing hot or cold objects (due to diabetes,
Raynaud’s disease, or similar) please consult your doctor before using these
gloves.
c) Check your hands regularly for reddening of the skin. Excessive heat levels
over prolonged periods can lead to bums.
d) Not for use by children.
e) To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision Is necessary when the
product is used near children.
f) Do not put fingers or hands Into the battery pack.
g) Do not expose the battery pack directly to rain or snow.
h) Use of a power supply or charger not recommended or sold by heated gloves
manufacturer may result in a risk of fire or injury to persons.
i) Do not use a battery pack in excess of its output rating. Overloaded
outputs above rating may result in a risk of fire or injury to persons.
j) Do not use a battery pack that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified
batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion or
risk of injury.
k) Do not disassemble the battery pack. Take it to a qualified service person
when service or repair is required. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk
of fire or injury to persons.
I) Do not expose the battery pack to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure
to fire or temperature above 212°F (100°C) may cause an explosion.
m) Have servicing performed by a qualified repair person using only identical
replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the product is
maintained.
n) The products are not intended for use at elevations greater than 6500 ft
(2000 m) above sea level.
I) Risk of fire and burns. Do not crush or hit the battery pack at any time.
Do not intend to use sharp objects to stab the battery pack. Avoid hitting the
battery pack during use.
m) Do not put the battery pack in heated gloves to charge, remove the battery
pack from the heated gloves and then charge, and insert the battery after
charging is complete.
n) Do not put the battery pack or heated gloves in water or fire or heat the
battery pack. Do not short-circuit the battery pack. o) Switch off the heated
gloves when not in use.
p) Remove the battery from the glove prior to cleaning or washing.
q) Do not leave power on and unattended.

Battery Disposal
The heated gloves contain rechargeable batteries.
When disposing of the product all state and local rules and regulations must
be followed.
