WARNINGS

  • Adult supervision is required at all times. Before each use, an adult should review the product and battery to determine that no damage or hazards exist.
  • Not recommended for children under 14 years of age. As with all electrical products, precaution should be observed during handling and use to reduce the risk of electrical shock.
  • Never touch or allow others to touch your HydraQuad while it is flying.
  • Do not touch spinning propellers or allow anything to intentionally make contact in any way with spinning propellers.
  • Prevent contact with spinning propellers by powering off prior to handling your HydraQuad.
  • Always turn your HydraQuad off when it is not in use.
  • Always fly your HydraQuad in large open areas.
  • Keep HydraQuad away from power lines, buildings, trees, public areas, and any other potentially hazardous areas.
  • Do not fly your HydraQuad into animals, people, or inanimate objects. Never fly your HydraQuad above or near people, sudden changes in wind or other conditions could lead to unexpected crashes.
  • Use caution and pay attention to your surroundings while operating your HydraQuad.
  • Obey relevant laws and respect the privacy and property rights of others.
  • Do not operate in rain, heavy wind, or any type of severe weather.
  • Your HydraQuad should never be modified or used for anything except its intended purpose.
  • To avoid possible hazards, do not crush, disassemble, or dispose of in fire.
  • Keep away from long hair.

LITHIUM-POLYMER BATTERY WARNING

  • There is a risk of fire and personal injury if Li-Po battery is punctured, damaged or misused.
  • Never expose battery to extreme temperatures or moisture.
  • Do not subject battery to strong impacts.
  • Always keep battery away from flammable materials.
  • Only use manufacturer specified batter(ies), charger(s), USB Charging Cable and/or adapters, if applicable, specified by the manufacturer.
  • Battery is not serviceable.
  • Let battery cool to room temperature before charging.
  • While charging, never leave battery unattended.
  • Recycle or dispose of battery according to federal, state and local laws.
  • Charge battery in isolated area.
  • Do not expose to direct sunlight.
  • Carefully read the instruction guide, and use the Rechargeable Battery correctly.
  • In the unlikely event of leakage or explosion, use sand or a chemical fire extinguisher for the battery.
  • Batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly.

GROUND MODE

DRIVE ON THE GROUND

  • PUSH LEFT STICK UP OR DOWN TO CHANGE SPEED.
  • PUSH RIGHT STICK LEFT OR RIGHT TO CHANGE DIRECTION.
  • BOOST TO HOVER EVEN HIGHER OVER THE SURFACE.
  • PULL BACK ON THE LEFT STICK TO STOP.

PRO TIPS

  • RECOMMENDED FOR INDOOR USE ONLY. ON SMOOTH SURFACES TO AVOID DAMAGE.
  • FOR BEST PERFORMANCE, OPERATE ON SMOOTH SURFACES TO AVOID OBSTACLES.
  • THE HYDRAQUAD CAN ONLY DRIVE FORWARD, NOT BACKWARDS, IN GROUND MODE.

NAVIGATING IN WATER MODE

PLACE HYDRAQUAD IN THE WATER. BELOW 10 CM DEPTH HYDRAQUAD WILL LOSE SIGNAL AND RETURN TO THE SURFACE. PUSH LEFT STICK UP TO GLIDE FORWARD. TOGGLE THE RIGHT STICK TO CHANGE DIRECTION.
THE HYDRAQUAD CAN ONLY NAVIGATE FORWARD, NOT BACKWARDS, IN WATER MODE.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

  1. Lay your HydraQuad remote controller so that the battery compartment faces upwards. The HydraQuad remote controller requires 3 x AAA “LR03 / R03”1.5V Batteries (not included).
  2. Using a Phillips screwdriver (not included) remove the screw on the battery compartment cover.
  3. Remove any existing batteries and insert new batteries according to the diagram. Ensure that the positive and negative polarities match the illustrations inside the battery compartment.
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten screw using the screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.

IMPORTANT BATTERY INFORMATION

  • Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries [standard (Carbon-Zinc), Alkaline or rechargeable] or rechargeable batteries of different capacities.
  • Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before recharging them.
  • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
  • Please respect the correct polarity, (+) and (-).
  • Do not try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
  • Do not dispose of batteries into fire.
  • Replace all batteries of the same type/brand at the same time.
  • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
  • Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
  • Batteries should be replaced by adults.
  • Batteries should be recycled or disposed of as per state and local guidelines.
  • Protect the environment by not disposing of this product with household waste. Check your local authority for recycling advice and facilities

FAIL SAFE GUIDE: If the HydraQuad goes out of range of the controller, it will automatically land itself. If the controller comes back in to range before the HydraQuad lands, push up on the left stick to cancel landing.
