SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  •  This product contains no user-serviceable parts. All servicing must be performed by a qualified technician.
  • Connect the product only to properly grounded outlets with the appropriate power supply.
  • Do not remove or tamper with the housing of the unit; doing so increases the risk of electric shock.
  • Do not expose the product to high temperatures, moisture, or electricity.
  • Do not use the product near exposed flames.
  • The maximum operating temperature is 113°F.
  • Clean with a dry cloth only. Clean the product only as recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Unplug the unit when not in use.
  • To establish a safe volume level, start the volume at the lowest setting and slowly increase it until you can hear the sound comfortably, clearly, and without distortion.
  • Use a suitable means of transportation when moving the product.

USAGE TIPS

  • Once a Bluetooth device has been paired, there is no need to pair it again.
  • If the speaker is connected to a Bluetooth device and there is no sound, turn off all nearby devices and only allow one device to connect with the speaker.
  • Always ensure that USB devices/SD cards are inserted correctly and in the proper direction. To avoid damage, always insert cards gently.
  • Before turning off the speaker, remove the USB/SD device.

CONTROL PANEL


SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  1.  USB Port: Allows you to insert a USB mass storage device containing MP3 files.

  2. SD Port: This allows you to insert on SD cord containing MP3 files.

  3.  Remote Receiver: Receives the signal from the remote control.

  4. Mode: Use this button to select on input mode: Bluetooth/FM/Line In/MP3 player. NOTE: MP3 mode will only be selectable if an SD card or USB de-vice is connected.

  5. / Volume -: Press once to go to the previous song or preset FM channel. Press and hold to tarn down the volume.

  6. / Volume «: Press once to go to the next song or preset FM channel. Press and hold to turn up the volume.

  7. Repeat/Folder: Use this button to repeat all, repeat one, repeat randomly, or repeat folder.

  8. Playback/TWS
    • In MP3 mode: Press this button once to play or pause o song.
    • Press and hold the button to enter Folder mode: the display will show “Fold”. Then, press or   to choose a music folder.
    • In FM mode: Press to scan available radio stations. Stations in range will be saved. Then, press or  to change stations.
    • In Bluetooth mode: Hold this button down for S seconds to pair with another PA system using TWS or to cancel TWS.

  9. Mic In: Use this dial to set the volume level of the microphone signal.

  10. Line In: Use this dial to set the volume level of line-in signal.

  11. MP3: Use this dial to set the volume level of the MP3 signal.

  12. Equalizer: The ED is capable of 12 db cut or boost.
    CONTROL PANEL

  13. Microphone Input: 1/4” connector for an unbalanced microphone or instrument.

  14. Line Input: Allows you to connect an external audio device through the RCA connector.

  15. Overload Indicator: If this red LED light is constantly illuminated, turn down the volume.

  16. Power Indicator: Light indicates that the power is on.

  17. 115-230 V Selector: Selects the voltage.

  18. AC Power: Allows you to connect an AC power cord.

  19. LED Lights Power: Allows the LED lights to be turned on or off. The LED lights only work when the music is at a certain volume. If the
    lights don’t turn on, try increasing the volume.

  20. On/Off Power Switch: Turns the power on or off.

  21. Speaker Output Allows you to connect the active speaker to the passive speaker.

SD & USB INSTRUCTIONS

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Turn on the power.
  2. Turn the MP3 dial to the MIN level.
  3. Insert an SD card or USB mass storage device.
  4. Use the MP3 dial to set the desired volume.

NOTE: Inserting the SD card or USB device will automatically switch the loudspeaker to SD/USB mode from whatever mode was previously selected.

BLUETOOTH INSTRUCTIONS

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Turn on the power.
  2. Turn the MP3 dial to the MIN level.
  3. Press the Mode button repeatedly to find and select Bluetooth mode.
  4. The display will show “Blue” when you are in Bluetooth mode.
  5. Connect a device with Bluetooth capabilities, such as a tablet, smartphone, or PC. Open your device’s Bluetooth settings and find “Knoxgear” to connect to the loudspeaker system.
  6. Set the volume on the device to the desired level. Then, use the MP3 control to set the desired volume on the system.

TWS INSTRUCTIONS

TWSINSTRUCTIONS

TWS (True Wireless Stereo) allows you to play music from a Bluetooth device over two Knox Gear KN-PAS02 systems simultaneously.

NOTE: The passive speaker included in the Combo Set is not equipped with TWS capability. TWS is for use with two separate Combo Sets.

  1. Power on two KN-PASO2 Active Loudspeakers Combo Set sys-tems.
  2. Select Bluetooth mode on each system, following the instructions on the previous page.
  3. Choose one PA system as the main (master) system. Hold down that system’s TWS/Playback button for 5 seconds. You should hear a beeping tone to indicate that the systems have synced. The main system’s screen will display “bra”. The secondary (slave) system’s screen will display “brb”.
  4. Connect a Bluetooth device to the main system, following the instructions on the previous page. Bluetooth audio can now be played on both PA systems simultaneously.
  5. To cancel TWS, hold down the TWS button   seconds. The screen will stop displaying “br-“.

NOTE: Only sound using Bluetooth will play on the secondary system. TWS does not allow you to play sound from FM radio, microphone. USB, or other connections on two systems.

MICROPHONE INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Turn on the power.
  2. Turn the Mic In dial to the MIN level.
  3. Use the 1/4″ input connector to insert the microphone
  4. Use the Mic In control to set the desired volume.

LINE IN INSTRUCTIONS

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Turn on the power.
  2. Turn the Line In dial to the MIN level.
  3. Connect a device using the Line Input RCA connection. Set the volume on the device to the desired level.
  4. Use the Line In dial to set the desired volume.

NOTE: You can use this function when you wish to connect a device without the use of a mixer console, such as an entertainment system.

| When in SD/USB mode, press these buttons to go to the previous or next song. When in FM mode, press to cycle through preset stations.
| When using SD/USB mode, press this button to play or pause a song. When using FM mode, press this button to scan through FM channels.
__| Press these buttons to decrease or increase the volume.
| Press this button to select from five preset EQs: pop, rock, jazz, classical, and country.
| Press this button to select songs using 2-digit numbers (00). First, select this button, and then press the desired number.
| Press this button to select songs using 3-digit numbers (000). First, select this button, and then press the desired number.
****| Press the numerical buttons to select MP3 track numbers.  By default, the remote select one -dios Thnum numbers. To select double- or triple-digit tracks, press the     Or button and then the number.
