CHARGING

This device has built-in rechargeable battery, before the first use, the battery shall be fully charged to ensure optimal performance and battery life.
Connect the charging cable to any powered USB port (output 5V 500mA). Make sure it is plugged in fully. Charge the device for about 3 hours. The red charging indicator light will be “on” while it is charging, it turns off when fully charged. Note: Do not use or turn on the device while charging.

TURNING ON AND OFF

Press and hold the button for about 3 seconds to turn on the device (same way to turn off the device). The blue color indication light will flash alternatively showing it is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
*If the device does not connect to Bluetooth after power on, it will turn off automatically after 3 minutes

BLUETOOTH PAIRING WITH DEVICE

Your device must be paired to a Bluetooth device before it can be used. It is only necessary to pair your device once with each device.

  1. Turn on your Bluetooth menu on the music player device you wish to pair (i.e. iPod/iPhone, mobile phone or compatible device). Some device requires you to select “Search for Devices” or “Add New Device” in order to create a Bluetooth pairing.
  2. Wait until you see “PBT Speaker Shelf” on your device screen.
  3. Select “PBT Speaker Shelf” on your device. Once pairing is complete and a connection is established, the blue LED light will flash every 2 seconds
  4. Now you can play music from your Bluetooth device to this Bluetooth device, and press the button shortly to play/pause the music.

Once the Bluetooth is turned on, it will automatically connect with the last paired Bluetooth device that is on and within range.

SAFETY AND CARE

  • When not in use, turn the speaker off and store in a cool, dry place. Battery performance will be severelydecreased when stored in extreme temperatures, including direct sunlight.
  • Clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Never use chemical cleaners.
  • This product has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair to avoid permanent damage.
  • Do not place on any wet surface.
  • Do not use this device near water.
  • Do not drop the product on hard surface. Doing that may result damage of the product.
  • Press function button gently, press too hard might shorten life time of function.
  • Do not cover the unit with any table-clothes, curtains, etc. Place the unit where there is good air circulation.
  • Do not place unit near TV, speakers, wireless speakers and other objects that generate strong magnetic fields.
  • Do not expose the speakers to liquids. If the device comes in contact with liquids, quickly wipe away. If submergedin water, do not turn the device on.
  • Do not use around flammable gasses as fire or explosion may occur.

WARNING
Using speakers at high to moderate volumes for extended periods of time will result in permanent hearing damage. It is advised you keep volume levels moderate to low at all time for your safety.
It is advised to turn the volume on your device all the way down before connecting your speakers, then gradually increase the volume until you reach a comfortable listening level.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Q: Cannot pair successfully.
A: Check the speaker is on and within searchable distance.
A: Check whether there are too many Bluetooth receivers around, turn unnecessary device off to avoid disturbance and pair again.

Q: The sound is too low or distorted.
A: Check volume setting on music device and adjust to a suitable sound level.
A: Battery might be low, please charge speaker.

Q: Cannot play music properly.
A: Check whether the distance between speaker and music device is too far from working distance, or whether there are some obstacles blocking the communication between speaker and device.
