TRANSMITTER INTRODUCTION
1A – General Information
- The radio control, RCS-300MDX1 has been designed for the control of automatic closing systems and anti-burglar systems. The operating frequency is 300 MHz.
- The transmitter security code is obtained by means of a 10-way two-state dip-switch, which allows up to 19683 codes combinations.
- Each transmitter (or its different keys) can be stored into different receivers and hence can do more functions.
- The product fully complies with Part 15 of FCC Regulations.

CODING
Using a coin, insert and twist to access the battery and the dip-switches. The
dip-position will give the security code.
Warningfach transmitter is set-in-factory with the same code on the dip-
switches; it highly advisable to change this code by moving the dip-switches
to any random position ( “+”,”-“).
INFORMATION
Each dip-switch setting code has to be stored in the receiver memory. The
memorization can be done by self-learning. The instructions for this operation
are given in the receiver installation manual. Your own installer will perform
this operation during the installation or will give you the necessary
explanation during installation.

BATTERY AND DIP-SWITCH ACCESS
To access the battery, Use a coin, insert and twist. Place the 23A alkaline
battery between the 2 contacts. Respect the right polarity as indicated on the
bottom of the box.
NOTE: Please dispose of the battery correctly, they are hazardous waste.

GUARANTEE
The guarantee period of all RCS transmitters is 12 months, beginning from the manufacturer date. During this period, if the product does not work correctly, due to a defective component, the product will be repaired or substituted at the discretion of RCS. The guarantee does not cover the plastic container integrity. After-sale service is supplied at the producer’s factory.
