Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Vivitar Wireless Portable Party Speaker, item V60033BT. Turn a gathering into a party with this hight up Bluetooth speaker, compatible with most mobile devices and tablets. For additional fun, plug in the included microphone to sing along with your friends, family, and favorite tunes. For the best experience, please read this manual carefully before using your speaker.

Important Safety Precautions

When using your Vivitar Wireless Portable Party Speaker, basic safety precautions should always be followed including:

  1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE SPEAKER
  2. Do not allow children to use the speaker without adult supervision
  3. Do not expose the speaker to excessive heat, flames, or fire
  4. Always press buttons and turn knobs carefully. Do not handle the speaker roughly.
  5. Do not use in extremely dry environments, as this can lead to static discharge during usage
  6. Do not expose the speaker to temperatures above 104F Keep out of direct sunlight.
  7. Do not attempt to repair this product yourself. Contact a qualified service center if your speaker is in need of service.
  8. Do not drop, puncture or expose your speaker to excessive physical force.
  9. The speaker is not intended for commercial use.
  10. Do not place near objects that generate a strong magnetic field. hi. Unplug your speaker when not in use for long periods of time and during lightning storms.
  11. Please recycle or dispose of your speaker properly based on the laws and rules of your municipality. Contact local recycling facilities and/or the manufacturer of your speaker for further information.
  12. Do not tug or yank on the charging cable and the microphone when disconnecting from the speaker. Always gently insert and disconnect cables.

-The device an equipped with an integrated lithium battery. The battery cannot be replaced. Do not attempt to remove the battery from the device.
-Do not dispose of in fire or expose to excessive heat

Charging the Speaker

Using the included USB charging cable, connect the standard us8 end into a wall adapter (not included) and into a wall outlet. Insert the Micro US8 end into the port on the  back of the speaker

NOTES:

  • Remove the charging cable once charging is complete
  • Overcharging could reduce the life of the battery
  • A charged battery will lose its capacity if it is not used on a regular basis.

Important: To avoid a complete discharge of the battery, charge your speaker at least once every six months.

Bluetooth Pairing

Press the power button to turn the speaker On. Then, press the mode button to out the speaker in Bluetooth pairing mode.
Go to the Bluetooth settings page on your phone. Make sure that Bluetooth is turned on before connecting to the available device “V60033BT”

Selecting a Mode

After turning the speaker On, press the Mode button repeatedly to choose how music and audio will be played. Select from the following modes below:
AUX: Select this mode to play music from an audio source connected to the speaker’s Auxiliary Input Jack
USB : Select this mode to play music from a thumb drive or similar device inserted in the speaker’s USB Port.
TE: Select this mode to play music from s T or Micro SD memory card inserted into your speaker’s TE Memory Cared Slot. Your speaker can play Mp3 music files stored on your memory card.
FM: Select this mode to listen to FM radio stations. Press and hold the Play/Pause button in order to search for available stations. Press the Previous and Next track buttons to toggle through stations.

Speaker Controls

  1. Press the Play/Pause button to play and pause music.
  2. Press the Next track and Previous track buttons to go to the next or previous track.
  3. Turn the Power/Volume knob to increase and decrease the speaker’s volume

Vivitar One Year Warranty

This warranty covers the original consumer purchaser only and is not transferable.
This warranty covers products that fail to function properly UNDER NORMAL USAGE, due to defects in material or workmanship. Your product will be repaired or replaced at no charge for parts or labor for a period of one year.
What Is Not Covered by Warranty
Damages or malfunctions not resulting from defects in material or workmanship and damages or malfunctions from other than normal use, including but limited to, repair by unauthorized parties, tampering, modification, or accident.

To receive warranty service along with the name and address of an authorized product service center, the original consumer purchaser must contact us for problem determination and service procedures. Proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale or receipted invoice, evidencing that the product is within the applicable warranty period(s). MUST be presented in order to obtain the requested service. It is your responsibility to properly package and send any defective products along with a dated copy of proof of purchase, a written explanation of the problem, and a valid return address to the authorized service center at your expense. Do not include any other items or accessories with the defective product. Any products received by the authorized service center that are not covered by warranty will be returned unrepaired.
