HMS motorsport SP1 Helmet Speaker Kits Instruction

Installation instruction

  1. Secure helmet to prevent damage and ensure ease of installationHMS-motorsport-SP1-Helmet-FIG-1
  2. Remove the right cheek pad and then the chin pad from the helmet.HMS-motorsport-SP1-Helmet-FIG-2
  3. Remove the ear pads from the chin pads. They are secured with small pieces of velcro.HMS-motorsport-SP1-Helmet-FIG-3
  4. Located the earcup that says UP-R. This denotes that it is the Right earcup and should be installed into the left cheek pad with UP towards the top of the helmet.HMS-motorsport-SP1-Helmet-FIG-4
  5. Place the cheek pad and integrated microphone loosely into the helmet and move to step 6.HMS-motorsport-SP1-Helmet-FIG-5
  6. Find the connector tether and work the clip onto the rubber seal around the bottom. It is recommended to take your time and use a small screwdriver to help guide the part over the seal.HMS-motorsport-SP1-Helmet-FIG-6
    • Carefully work the clip into place as shown. It needs to be as far back against the main EPS as possible.HMS-motorsport-SP1-Helmet-FIG-7
  7. Place the extra speaker wire and cup outside of the shell then pull the chin strap through the cheek pad and secure. The chin pad can be installed back into the helmet anytime between steps 7 and 9.HMS-motorsport-SP1-Helmet-FIG-8
  8. Secure the speaker wire in around the back of the helmet by tucking it in with a blunt tool as shown.HMS-motorsport-SP1-Helmet-FIG-9
  9. Pull the chin strap through the cheek pad outlet and snap it back into place.HMS-motorsport-SP1-Helmet-FIG-10
  10. Install the remaining earcup into the helmet.HMS-motorsport-SP1-Helmet-FIG-11
  11. The microphone can be moved higher or lower on the chin pad to align it best with your mouth. Enjoy!HMS-motorsport-SP1-Helmet-FIG-12
