Upholstery nozzle
Use for cleaning upholsteries, mattresses, curtains and other sensitive textiles. The thread lifter takes up threads and lint better.
Crevice nozzle
Use for crevices, corners and narrow gaps that you cannot clean with other nozzles.
Permanent filter
The textile permanent filter can be used in place of dust bags to be disposed of in household waste. It can be opened and emptied at the bottom (Velcro fastener). The permanent filter is washable. Danger! Do not use a wet or damp permanent filter into the handheld vacuum cleaner.

  • the catch at the other end of the tube and lock it with the connection port of the stick vacuum cleaner.
  • Proceed as described above to connect the short tube with the desired accessories in the same way.
  • To separate the parts, press down the catch and pull out the tube or the handle resp. the accessory slightly twisting.
  • When cleaning under furniture and areas that are very difficult to access, we recommend connecting the long tube with the nozzle and the short tube with the handle.

Power on/off

By operating the on/off switch the stick vacuum cleaner will be switched on.

Mechanical suction power (Contur Basic)
The mechanical suction power with controller is on the short tube.
Controller closed = full suction power
Controller opened = reduced suction power

Electronic suction powe r (Contur Plus)
The suction power of the vacuum cleaner can be adapted to the type of material of the cleaning area by electronic suction power. Set the maximum suction power by turning the dial switch (according to the increasing arrow). The opposite direction is to reduce the suction power continuously. With an average setting you can clean normally soiled carpets or smooth floors energy- saving

Changing the filter bag

  • Press lock slightly, open the cleaner and take out the dusk container with filter bag.

  • Push filter bag from snapper or filter cartridge

  • To insert the filter bag slide-in the cardboard disc of the filter onto the filter holder in direction of the arrow and push the filter tightly down. lt is essential to observe the correct placement of the cardboard disc.
Bending the cardboard disc can lead to leaks and results in a polluted dust container and motor protection filter (Change of motor protection filter is necessary!

Then insert a new motor protection filter and the filter holder in reverse order.

Cleaning the stick vacuum cleaner

The plastic housing can be wiped with a damp cloth and then dried. For stubborn dirt use a gentle cleaner (e.g. washing-up liquid). Do not use scouring powder or organic solvents. To avoid soilings due to electrostatic charge of the appliance or accessories we recommend spraying it lightly with commercially available antistatic spray.

Cleaning the accessories

We recommend vacuuming the bottom of the universal nozzle and of the upholstery nozzle by the crevice nozzle.

DISTURBANCES

lf there are further electrical devices with a high connection value connected to the same circuit it is possible that the fuse responds. You can avoid that by first adjusting the dial to minimum and regulate later after switch on the stick vacuum cleaner.
lf the suction power of your stick vacuum cleaner degreases, please check if:

  • The filter has tobe changed.
  • The motor protection filter has to be renewed.
  • The nozzle resp. the tube is clogged.
The electronic suction power switch is still on the lowest level „min“. In case of overload the motor-overheating protection of the appliance switches off automatically. (e.g. as a result of full filter bag, clogged filters or accessories.) lf this is the case: turn off the stick vacuum cleaner and pull out mains plug. Remove the cause of the error. Circa 30 minutes later you can put it into operation again
