HOW TO USE
Step 1: Download the app
Go to your Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and search for “BruxRelief”. Press on the icon for BruxRelief by Bravrr Inc and then download the app from the next screen.
ATTENTION: During the setup process, you will be asked if the BruxRelief app can use your smartphone’s Bluetooth connection. Please approve this request. BruxRelief uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to communicate with your smartphone so it is crucial that you approve this connection.
Step 2: Sign up for your account
- Once you have the BruxRelief app installed, open the app and you will see a welcome screen. On the welcome screen, press “Sign up”. The signup screens will guide you through each step in the signup process.
- First, you will enter your email address. Make sure you are using the same email address as the one you purchased your device with, or the same email your clinician used to invite you to the BruxRelief app.
- On the next screen, you will need your “patient code”. Login into your email account and search for an email with the subject line “App Sign Up & Patient Code”. This email contains your patient code at the top of the email. Enter this code into the field provided.
- After you’ve provided your patient code you will be guided through several more screens that will help you set up your account and password.
Step 3: Fill out your health survey
- After you complete the sign up process screens you will be directed to complete an initial health survey which helps the BruxRelief app to customize the display screens in your account.
Step 4: Ready for your first assessment
- Once you have completed the health survey your account will be fully set up and you will be able to perform your first assessment.
- On the “Assessments” screen in your app, simply press on the “Get started” button at the bottom and you will be guided through several screens showing you how to wear the BruxRelief headband, connect the device to your smartphone, and perform your first assessment.
