Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the procedure for resetting my rear-view camera?
Make sure the vehicle is turned off before opening the hood. Remove the battery from your device. To drain the remaining energy, start your automobile and press the horn or turn on the headlights. Restart the vehicle. Connect the battery again.

  • Is it possible for me to leave my reverse camera on all the time?
Backup cameras may be turned on at any time; all you need is a solid product and the necessary installation expertise.

  • Why is the screen on my rearview camera black?
Another common problem with backup cameras is when the display screen displays nothing, even though there is no signal. Instead of being ineffectively connected, the most logical explanation is that the camera is not powered.

  • What is the definition of a reverse trigger wire?
Your head unit receives a signal from the reverse trigger wire indicating that the vehicle has been shifted into reverse. This connection was connected to the back of the vehicle’s head unit in the previous step. We must now connect the wire to the appropriate signal on the wiring harness of the car.

  • Why hasn’t my reversing camera worked in a while?
Your camera could be sending you this notification for a variety of reasons. If it’s a Wi-Fi camera that was previously working, it’s likely that the camera has to be reset. Check the wiring and power cords as well, as a wire or a cord may have frayed or become separated.
