Gymform® Electro Fat Reducer is a revolutionary system to sculpt and shape your figure. Read the instructions carefully before using the device.
WARNINGS
Before using Gymform® Electro Fat reducer, consult your general practitioner and your physiotherapist. Be sure to read the instructions, warnings and precautions carefully before using Gymform® Electro Fat reducer. Gymform® Electro Fat reducer is designed for adults in good health. However, it needs to be used with care. Read the following guidelines and instruction manual before using this product.
– The application of electrodes close to the chest may increase the risk
of cardiac fibrillation.
– Simultaneous connection of a user to high frequency surgical equipment
may cause burns at thecontact points of the Gymform® Electro Fat Reducer and
the Gymform® Electro Fat Reducer may be damaged.
– The operation of shortwave therapeutic equipment or a microwave in the vicinity (1m. for example) may cause instabilities in the power output of the Gymform® Electro Fat Reducer.
– This is a powerful muscle stimulation device. Injuries may occur if you
use the more advanced exercise programme directly. Start at lower levels and
work your way up.
– Do not use on children or animals.
– Do not use while driving or sleeping.
– Do not use in the bathroom or other places with high humidity.
– Batteries must be removed from the appliance before disposal.
– Batteries must be disposed of safely.
– This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
– Children must not play with the appliance.
– Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children without
supervision.
– Non-rechargeable batteries must not be charged.
– Used batteries must be removed from the appliance and disposed of
safely.
– If you do not plan to use the device for a long period of time, remove
the batteries.
– Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
You should NOT use Gymform® Electro Fat Reducer:
- If you have an electronic implant (e.g. a pacemaker) or suffer from any other heart problem.
- If you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant.
- If you suffer from cancer, epilepsy or are under medical supervision for cognitive dysfunction.
- During breast-feeding.
- You have a high fever. Ladies, to use Gymform® Electro Fat Reducer you must wait:
- At least six months after the birth of your child (in consultation with your doctor).
- One month after the insertion of an intrauterine contraceptive.
- At least three months after a caesarean section (in consultation with your doctor).
- Until the first few days of your period pass.
To use the Gymform® Electro Fat Reducer you must obtain permission from your doctor or physiotherapist:
- If you have back problems. You should also make sure that you keep the intensity at low levels.
- If you have a serious illness or injury not mentioned in this section.
- If you have recently had surgery.
- If you take insulin because of diabetes. When applying the belt, always remember:
- Place the large belt ONLY on the abdominals.
- Place the small belt ONLY on the areas indicated below.
- Do not place the belt, or use the product: on the neck, chest and back in such a way that the electricity passes through the heart (i.e. one patch on the chest and one on the back, on the genitals, scars, moles, varicose veins, or on the head.
- Do not place the device on recent scars, inflamed skin, infected or acne prone areas, thrombosis, other vascular problems (varicoseveins), or any part of the body with limited sensation.
- Do not place on areas of injury or limited mobility (fractures or sprains).
- Do not place Gymform® Electro Fat Reducer directly over metal implants. They should be placed over the nearest muscle.
Possible adverse reactions:
There are isolated reports of skin reactions from the use of electrostimulation units, including allergies, prolonged skin redness and acne. If you experience any of these symptoms, turn the unit off and consult your physician. If you have never done a Gymform® Electro Fat Reducer programme before, or if it has been a long time since you last did one: Consult your GP.
Cautions
- Do not use Gymform® Electro Fat Reducer while sleeping or drowsy.
- Do not use Gymform® Electro Fat Reducer when your body is in contact with water.
- Keep out of the reach of children
- Do not use Gymform® Electro Fat Reducer in conjunction with any other device that transfers electrical current to the body or with any other machine.
- Do not modify the unit.
- If the electrodes are not in full contact with the skin, the Gymform® Electro fat reducer will not work properly.
- Do not use on the face
- Do not use Gymform® Electro Fat Reducer without conductive gel as it will not work properly.

USE

Remove the battery compartment cover and install 4 AA batteries (not included) according to the polarity symbols (polarity is indicated in the battery compartment for correct location). (10) Once they are in place, put the lid on and make sure it is tightly closed.

Turn on the Gymform® Electro Fat Reducer: Press the ON/OFF button (5) to start the unit. When you turn it on, you will see a blue light on the work programme and a red light on the intensity level.

Select the desired programme: Gymform® Electro Fat Reducer has two programmes: G (Gym) and S (Slim). Press the (M) “MODE” button (6): to change programmes, you can switch from one programme to another by pressing this button. The G (GYM) mode serves to strengthen muscles and tone up, while the S (Slim) programme helps to reduce body fat, improves skin elasticity and helps to reduce cellulite.

Apply an adequate amount of Gymform® Electro Fat Reducer conductive gel on the 4 electrode plates. (11)

Use it on the area you wish to treat. It is important that the device (the 4 electrode plates) are in full contact with the skin. (12) Do not use on the face Recommended duration: Arms (each side): 3~5 min / Thighs (each side): 5~10 min / Hip: 10~15 min / Abdomen: 10~20 min

Adjust the intensity level To decrease the Intensity Level, briefly and repeatedly press the – (8) button.To increase the Intensity Level, press the + button briefly and repeatedly.)
(7)You can choose between 10 Intensity Levels. If this is your first electrostimulation session, we recommend that you start at Level 1 for the first 10 minutes and graduallyincrease the level until you are familiar with the device.
Automatic shutdown
For your safety, Gymform® Electro Fat Reducer will automatically switch off 10 minutes after it has been switched on, regardless of the Level and Programme set. If you wish to end the session earlier, press the power button for 1 second until it switches off.
If you want to use it longer, you can turn the unit back on again and do 10 minutes more or turn it off earlier, whenever you think it is necessary. Important: Do not use for more than 20 minutes per area per day. -
Turning off the Gymform® Electro Fat reducer: To turn it off, press the ON/OFF button(5) once. The lights will turn off when the unit is off.
BELT USE
Gymform® Electro Fat Reducer is a mobile device that allows you to use it anywhere; however, two belts are included: long belt (abdominal) (3) and short belt (arms/legs) (4), with which it can also be used.

Attach the Gymform® Electro Fat Reducer (1) to the base (2). (See picture A)

Attach the long/short belt to the base (see picture B). Make sure it is securely fastened

Place the belt with the device on the area to be treated; make sure the belt fits snugly so that the 4 electrodes are in contact with the skin and secure it well.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Do not wash the Gymform® Electro Fat Reducer unit, clean it with a dry or damp
cloth; after each use remove excess conductive gel from the electrode plates
with a cloth.
Do not immerse in water. Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature.
BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
Be sure to install them correctly before turning the unit on.
To replace the batteries, switch off the unit.
Remove the batteries if the unit will not be used for a long period of time.
Take the necessary precautions when disposing of batteries and do not dispose
of them in fire.
| HOW TO DISPOSE OF MATERIALS
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that you should inform yourself
and follow local regulations for the disposal of this type of product. Do not
dispose of this product in the same way as general household waste. You must
dispose of it according to your local regulations. Electrical and electronic
products contain hazardous substances that have harmful effects on the
environment or human health and must be properly recycled.
The battery must be disposed of separately. To protect the environment,
batteries, evenrechargeable batteries, should not be disposed of in the same
way as normal household waste. Take them to a collection point and check that
you comply with the applicable legal requirements for battery disposal.
