It is Omnidirectional for superior stereo sound capture. wind-screen is included to cut down on wind noise. It has a complete rotation Clip for unrestricted attack angle. HOW IT WORKS
A sound mixer can regulate and modify the audio feeds that wireless lavalier microphones send through radio waves to a receiver. Although there are many different types of lav microphones, the best ones will generate audio that is on par with a typical boom mic.

It should with the media mod. It works with the Hero 9 with the media mod.
Is the input compatible (i.e. will it be recognized as an audio input) with the MacBook pro? i have had issues with some microphones in the past.
YES, but you need to buy an adapter for it. If the laptop has one port, it will be a 4 POLE port or four contact points since it combines power, left and right audio and mic in. SO… in order to get it to work you need to buy an adapter for it, “Headsets Splitter Adapter”.
What’s the best Windscreen for this mic?
It comes with a windscreen, although it’s not great for windy outdoor conditions. You can try a mic furry for lapel mics; there isn’t a dedicated model however.
Is there a phone setting I need to make on my galaxy s10? I can’t tell whether its recording from the phone mic or the sonny mic.
I don’t think this lapel mic works with a phone without an adapter. For example, if your S10 has a headphone input you can try a female TRS to TRRS adapter, then you can test if it works. To test if sound is coming through either lightly tap or scratch the mic to confirm sound is being recording.
Does this work with sonny icd—ux570 recorder?
Not familiar with the ux570, but if it has a mic input with plug-in power it should work.
Will this pick up low frequencies (e.g. 100-200 Hz)? Looking to attach it to a Woojer haptic feedback vest for outdoor music festivals.

Unsure of the exact model, but if it accepts 3.5mm, no reason it shouldn’t.

What’s the benefit of a stereo lav mic?
Over mono, eh a few really. If you’re doing speaking stuff like recording an informative YouTube video, or a commercial, you’ll want a very directional MONO mic. BUT if you want a more natural sound, the stereo can help with that sometimes the “deadness” of mono, if that isn’t what you’re going for. With stereo, it allows for WAY more post-processing flexibility since you can mix the channels to your liking, balance it better, and get better down-sampling to mono.
Does it help a sonny recorder sound louder when plugged into the recorder?
It MIGHT. This is just a simple microphone with no amp or anything of that sort on it. If you have audio that is too quiet, you need to place your microphone closer to the speaker, then gradually increase the gain on your recording device (or just ask your speaker to speak up a little.)

Will it work with Sony RX100 m7?

The description indicates Bluetooth connectivity. is there a transmitter/receiver? i need a wireless stereo mic with a receiver that connects to 3.5mm.
There is no Bluetooth connectivity built into this mic. It is a wired lavalier that could plug into a wireless transmitter if you needed it to. I use mine with my Rode Wireless Go II system and it works great.
