Instructions for Use

Getting Started

  • To turn the receiver on press and hold the MFB(1) for 3 seconds
  • To turn the receiver off press and hold the MFB(1) for 3 seconds
  • The unit will shut down automatically if no action in 10 minutes

Charging

It is recommended that fully charge it before its first use.

  1. Plug the micro USB end of the charge cable into the micro USB Charging port(2) of the Receiver
  2. Plug the standard USB cable end into either a computer or a USB mains charger
  3. The MFB(1) will be solid red whilst charging
  4. When charging is complete the MFB(1) will be solid blue

Pairing the Receiver to Your Device

It will need to be paired to your device before using it
To do this:

  1. Press and hold the MFB(1) for 5 seconds.
    This will turn the receiver on and automatically enter pairing mode.
    The MFB(1) Will fast flash blue when in pairing mode.

  2. Turn your device’s Bluetooth ON and search for new devices

  3. When the “MaedHawk BTR005” appears in the list, select it and if it asks for a passcode just enter’0000′.

  4. The receiver should then be paired to your device.

  5. The receiver will automatically pair to the last device it connected to when turned on.

Pairing mode will be active for 3 minutes. After this, the light will slowly flash blue. TO re-activate pairing mode, turn the receiver off and follow the instructions as above.

Please note you can have two devices paired to the BT Receiver at any time.

If you can Not find the paring name “MaedHawk BTR005” on your cell phone please read the no. 1 carefully and pay attention to below:

[DO NOT release your hand on 3 seconds when the led red and Blue flash only for 1 time]

Pair with 2 Cell Phones Simultaneously

  1. Make the Receiver pair with your 1st phone successfully, then disconnect them (disable bluetooth of the phone).
  2. Make it re-enter pairing mode and pair with the 2nd phone.
  3. Enable Bluetooth of the 1st phone and tap “MaedHawk BTR005” in the list to connect.
  4. will automatically connect this both phones next time once it power on.

Playing Music through Your Receiver

Aux-in/Bluetooth

If already connecter to the receiver via Bluetooth, simply plug The BT Receiver into the aux-in port of the speaker/stereo.

Whilst playing music, please use your device to change volume/track.

To play/pause songs through the receiver, short press the MFB(1).

Call Handing

The receiver can also take and receive calls when connected.

Answer phone call – short press MFB(1)
Reject phone call – press MFB(1) for 1 second
Hang up the call – short press MFB(1)
Redial last number – short press MFB(1) twice
Cancel dialing – short press MFB(1)

Note:

If your aux-in port is located within the glove box and the Glove box is closed, you may have problems talking over the Phone as the MIC won’t be able to pick up your voice.

Battery

  • Low battery alarm will indicate there is 5 minutes left of battery
  • After 5 minutes the BT Receiver will turn off
