Introduction
You wear a set of small speakers inside your ears called earbuds. They’re useful tiny gadgets at low volumes. However, playing loud music so near to your eardrums can permanently damage your hearing. Offer a lot of customization options, sound fantastic, and fit beautifully. The best earphones are much more than just those with the highest overall sound quality. Sound quality is crucial, to be sure.

Precautions
- Listening with headphones at high volume may affect your hearing. For traffic safety, do not use while driving or cycling.
- Do not put weight or pressure on the headphones as it may cause the headphones to deform during long storage.
- The ear pads may deteriorate due to long-term storage or use.
Note on static electricity
In particularly dry air conditions, mild tingling may be felt on your ears. This is a result of static electricity accumulated in the body, and not a malfunction of the headphones. The effect can be minimized by wearing clothes made from natural materials.
How to use
Wear the earpiece marked R in your right ear and the one marked L in your left ear.
There is a tactile dot on the unit marked L to distinguish the left side.
If the headphones do not fit your ears, put on the supplied ear pads.

It’s a 90 degree angle.
Does it have a microphone?****
No, they don’t have a microphone, but they have high volume and excellent sound quality reproduction, they are perfect for music listening.
How many contacts are there in the plug? Is it a three or four contacts one?****
if you’re asking: how many rings there are on the actual male 3.5mm plug there are two for stereo sound. would be three for something like a built in mic. I don’t think I ever seen more than that.1 for mono 2 for stereo etc. this has 2. no built in mic or anything. anyway, I love these earphones. they put out real good sound for the price and they are sooo lightweight.
What are the sound specs/limits?****
Sony’s are 18-22,000 hz. Good sound for gaming. JVC Gumy are 15-20,000 hz. A little better sound to my ears for music.
Is the input jack 3.5 mm?****
Sorry I can’t help you. I have had retina surgery on both eyes and do not yet have new glasses so I can’t read the back of the box.
Compared to the size of Ipod buds, are these about the same circumference?****
I am not sure about ipod, but it is working with iphone.
Will standard foamies fit these earbuds?****
The other is wayto loose. What is the point of these? Does Sony have an earbuds with plastic covers .
Will they work with an ipod touch 6 ?****
I am not exactly sure if they will. Sometimes Apple is very specific about what can be used with its products so they may not. I will tell you that the jack is L shaped. The jack is straight but then the cord takes a quick turn down from the jack, so that might get in your way with an Ipod Touch. Just have to try them out I guess.
Do the jvc gummy earbuds sound better than these sony mdre9lp ear buds?****
I would say that the two brands sound about the same.

These headphones are manufactured in China.
Can you sleep with these?****
Yeah sleeping with them is a big part of the reason I get earbuds. If I’m on my side I only keep one in. They fit my ears well and usually stayed in throughout the night. I’ve had a couple of these and both lasted about a year.
What type of warranty do these come with?****
I did not buy these earbuds so I have no idea what type of warranty they come with.
I need replacement foam pads for mdre9lp/blk. can i buy these directly from sony? i bought some off brand amazon but they split and fall apart.****
I am not sure. The earbuds I bought did not come with foam padding. You can contact Sony directly.
Are these really discontinued?****
No but can’t find in stores. Now they just have those new earbuds that are bulky.
What’s the difference between buying “1 pack” and “earphones?”****
1 pack is the size of the product you are purchasing or performance, some companies use their sizing to define the difference in quality of their products. For example: Sony’s MDRE9LP Ear Buds are said to be one of the greatest ever made by Sony but were discontinued in 2009, Sony still offers great products similar to it but that one will be missed by many. A new technology has just come out by the company XTZ, they have created DSP technology in Ear Buds, Headphones, and many other electronic devices.
Don´t you have this model with Mic?? Because i love this big model, it doesn’t hurt inside my ear.****
It’s just a pretty looking ear piece it’s not worth it..I’ve had other Sony headphones and they work fine but this one.no no no.The earbuds don’t hurt that’s the only good thing.
Will these earbuds provide the antennae needed for the FM band on the Sony SRF M37W Walkman?****

Are they comfortable?****
Apple earbuds are more comfortable. These are tolerable. But more importantly, the sound is crap. I immediately replaced them with Sensi’s.
Work on android device?****
Yes, it does. I think any ear-phone with suitable socket (I think the correct name is 3.5 mm plug/socket) would work with an Android smartphone or tablet. It’s a universally used standard type of socket.
Works for cellphones, computers etc? Microphone for Skype?****
I don’t know about with cellphones, but it works with my computer fine. However, when I try to Skype while wearing them, the sound gets diverted and starts coming through my computer’s speakers again, thus making private conversations public. I have no idea why, but that is literally my only complaint for these headphones. Also, there is no microphone on these headphones.
