Button introductions

■ Power button

• Press for 3 seconds to turn on or off, and press for more than 6 seconds to force turn off

■ OK button

•  Short press to start or pause recording

■ UP/WIFI

•  Setting interface: menu UP function
• Press the UP button for 3 seconds to turn on or off WiFi. WiFi is default off
•  Press UP can switch front and rear lens (Note: dual recording mode supports this function)

■ DOWN/Switch

• Setting interface: menu DOWN function
• Recording interface: Short press to close and open sound recording

■ MENU button

•  When the recording is paused: short press MENU to go to the menu function
•  Recording in the start state: short press MENU to lock the current file

■ Reset

• If the camera has abnormal recording or WiFi disconnection, you can restart the camera by pressing the reset button shortly

■ TF card slot

• please use 32-256GB (class 10 U3 or above ) TF card

Installation guide

1.  Turn off the car engine
2.  Find a suitable position in the car that does not affect driving, then wipe the surrounding glass, install the bracket and hang the camera
3.  Tear off the protective film on the lens, make sure the lens is clean, and adjust the lens position, so that the lens and the ground remain at a level
4. Plug one end of the power cord into the power socket of the camera, and the other end into the power socket of the car
5.  Start the engine and check if the camera has been installed correctly

 Recording/ taking pictures instructions

■ Recording
Turn on the camera and enter recording mode, the upper left corner of the screen shows the video icon . Start recording, there will be a red dot flashing on the screen under-recording status. At the same time in the recording, you can not operate the menu and switch the working mode, then short press OK to stop the recording
■ Taking pictures
In the stop recording state, short press MODE to switch to photo mode, the upper left corner of the screen shows the photo icon . Short press OK to take a picture, short press MEMU to enter the picture setting, short press MODE to switch to playback mode

■ Video/picture playback

• In photo mode, press MODE to switch to playback mode, with the playback icon displayed in the upper left corner of the screen
• A short press on the UP to select the file upwards
• A short press on the DOWN to select the file downwards
• Short press the OK to play the selected video file
• Short press MENU to enter the menu setting, where you can delete or unlock files

■ Setting
In the three (recording, photo, playback) mode pause state, short press MEMU to enter the menu, and then short press once again to switch to the settings menu . By short press UP or DOWN, select a different setting, select the setting that needs to be changed, by short press OK to enter to change, then short press the MENU to exit the menu interface

Install APP & Connect wifi

■ Install APP

1.  Search“LuckyCam” in the app store, or scan the following QR to download the app

2.  After installation the app will prompt “if you want “LuckyCam” to access the photos of your phone”, click “OK”

■ Connect wifi

1.  Enter MENU in the pause recording state, press MENU again to switch to the Setup menu, select WiFi, select “On”, (or long-press UP for more than 3 seconds to open WIFI), and then the screen will display the WIFI name and password (No need to enter the password when connecting again)
2.  Enter the phone WLAN settings interface, find the camera WIFI such as: NVT_CARDV**, enter the password to connect, WIFI initial password is: 12345678
3.  After the phone and recorder interconnection successfully, you can open the APP to view the real-time screen or recorded video and pictures. (Because this recorder is true 4K pixels, when real-time viewing, pixels will be compressed, to get true 4K HD video, please download the video and then watch)
4.  Click APP to enter the download interface, the recorder screen will jump to download transmission interface, back to the APP main interface through the phone, the recorder screen to resume the recording interface
5.  Long press UP more than 3 seconds to exit the WIFI, press OK and the the recorder will come back to record

■ Video preview
When the APP is successfully connected to the recorder, the recorder in the state of stop recording, click the “folder” menu, click to play one of the videos (Note: direct preview will have video progress buffer)
■ Download
click”  “，to download the video to the phone click” “，to to see the pictures

Note: The video played back by the mobile phone is compressed. If you want to watch the original high-definition video, please download and play it on your mobile phone or insert the TF card into your computer to watch

GPS tracker & rear camera

■ GPS tracker

1. The GPS module is a square accessory in the box and must be powered up to work. Connect the power cable to the socket on the GPS, and then connect the GPS to the power socket on the recorder, and then you can use it after plugging in.
2.  GPS connection success, there will have a GPS icon on the screen.
3.  GPS connection success, the stored video will be marked with the corresponding coordinates (longitude and latitude), and the speed of the car
4. When playback the video on the phone, it will play the GPS tracking information
5.  The GPS module with tape on this site must be attached to the front windshield so as to receive a stable signal. (Remember not to reverse the paste, otherwise it will disturb the GPS direction)

■ Rear camera

1.  Connect the rear camera, the screen will display the rear recording video in real-time
2.  At the same time, the TF card will save the rear camera video with the file suffix “B”
3.  A rear camera should be installed near the license plate. Both the rear viewing and reverse guidance images are sharp and clear. To use the reversing function, please install the rear camera in position

Basic settings

1. Resolution: The default video resolution is: 38402160+19201080 25P The menu also contains 25601440+19201080 30P and FULL HD, select the corresponding resolution and click OK to switch the resolution. (2160P is true 4K)

2. Loop Recording: default is 3 minutes, click the “Loop Recording” menu, and the video length can be set to 1 minute / 3 minutes / 5 minutes

3. WDR: default is “On”, which means it automatically captures more light and adjusts brightness to produce clear, color-accurate videos and pictures even in low-light conditions

4. G-sensor: the default setting is “medium”, which corresponds to the sensitivity of the vibration when the file is locked

5. EV Exposure: default is +0.0, with various options available in the menu

6. Record Audio: The default setting is “On”. Turn on the video recording, select “Off” to turn off the recording

7. Date Stamp: The default setting is “On”, which shows the time and date of the recorded video

8. WiFi: default setting “Off”, choose “On”or long press UP button to open, connect via mobile app

9. Date/Time: Select the menu to pop up the date and time, manually adjust the current time and date, or connect to the APP settings menu and select time settings, click “Auto Sync” to set the current date and time

10. Auto Power Off: Default setting “Off”, menu setting 1min /3min /5min
    • Select “Off”, that is, in the state of stopping recording, the camera will not automatically shut down
    • Select “1 minute” that is, in the state of stop recording, the camera will automatically shut down in 1 minute

11. Rear Camera Mirror: default setting “on”, that is, whether to pull back into a mirror

12. default is “3 minutes” , click to select menu (Off / 1 min / 3 min / 5 min)
    • Select “Off”, i.e. the display will be on for a long time
    • Select “1 minute”, that is, the display will enter the screen saver black mode after 1 minute

13. Beep Sound : default is “On”, that is, to open the key sound

14. Language: default language “Is English”, there are multiple languages in the setting menu

15. GPS: Select “On” to display the GPS symbol icon on the screen, select “Off” to close the GPS symbol icon on the screen

16. Timezone: default time zone is GMT +8:00, the menu can choose the global time zone

17. Speed Warning: The default is 100km/h, you can choose to set between 70140km/h in the menu, that is, after choosing 100km/h, if the vehicle driving speed is greater than this speed, the machine will sound a beep. (GPS must be linked before using this function)

18. Speed Unit: default is KM/H, the menu contains KM/H, MPH optional

19. Frequency: default for 50Hz, the menu contains 50Hz, 60Hz optional

20. Format: formatting select “Confirm” that is to delete all data on the TF card

21. Default Setting: Select “Confirm” that is to restore the factory settings

22. Motion detection: default setting “off”, can be set in the APP, such as selecting “on” that is, in the recorder stop state, sensing the object in front of the movement, the recorder automatically records 10 seconds and then stop.Recorder automatically record 10 seconds after stopping

Common Problems and Solutions

Unable to record, send
“beep beep beep” alarm| No TF card, TF card failure, or TF card can not be recognized, you can replace the TF card or format the TF card
Unable to connect| Mobile devices such as cell phones need to be close to the recorder, select the SSID in the settings, and enter the correct password
No live preview| Make sure the connection is normal, reopen the APP after exiting
Image lag| The cell phone APP appears abnormal or program error, re-download and install an APP and reduce the software running on the phone
Settings save error| Check if the connection is OK

Note: TF card formatting
As TF card is in working condition, long-term use of TF card will produce fragments or damage, please check and format TF card regularly ( Suggestion: check and format TF card regularly every month)

Important Notes

1.  Please pay attention to set the time zone when you use it for the first time
2.  it is recommended to use the original SD card, Samsung and other class 10 or U3 or above TF card to avoid incompatibility problems. (Support 32– 256GB class 10 U3 or above TF card)
3. because the recorder for true 4K pixels, when playing the recorded video on the computer or TV, please download the 4K special player, it is recommended to download PotPlayer and VLC media player. (If you use a player that does not support 4K video playback, it will cause the video screen lag.)
4.  Please use original accessories provided by us, just in case of compatible issues after using other’s, especially use 2 or 3 in 1 cigar socket will lead to 100% insufficient current supply
5. Because this product is super capacitor powered, not battery powered, so if you need to use the parking monitoring function must be connected to the buck cable (not included) to the car distribution module, because the installation of the buck cable line is very complex, it is recommended to go to the local auto repair center for installation, the buck cable must be purchased separately. (Battery power supply is easy to age, not resistant to high temperature and cold, and prone to explosion, so supercapacitor is more advantageous and safer than battery power supply method.)
6.  WIFI connection distance available for 15 feet, more than this distance will automatically disconnect
