Dear music lover, Thank you for purchasing a Pro-Ject Audio Systems Power Box
RS2 Phono. In order to achieve maximum performance and reliability you should
study these instructions for use carefully.
Warning of a hazard for the user, the unit or possible misuse
Important notice
Safety Instructions
AC outlet voltages vary from country to country. Before connecting to the
mains, make sure that the voltage in your area meets the voltage requirements
printed on the power supply. Never handle the device while your hands are wet
or damp.
Avoid letting liquids enter the device. Never place any item containing
liquid, such as a flower vase on or near the device. Never spill any liquid on
the device. Never place any naked flame sources, such as lighted candles on or
near the device. The product shall not be used in damp or wet locations, next
to a bathtub, sink, swimming pool or any other similar conditions.
Using the product
Power Box RS2 Phono is designed to power a wide range of DC-powered Pro-Ject
turntables with 15V and phono preamplifiers with 18V or 20V.
Make all connections whilst the Power Box RS2 Phono is switched off or
disconnected from the mains.
Interconnection cables are included in the packaging. Original power supplies
are no longer required. Ensure that you use the correct cable for your device:
The cables are marked on both ends. In case of any doubts, consult the user
manuals of all connected products or ask your dealer.
Make sure that the Input AC selector matches the mains voltage in your country
Main power switch
The toggle switch on the front panel turns the unit on or off. The blue LED
above the switch shows that the unit is switched on.
Led indicators
The LEDs Turntable and Phono Stage on the front indicate that a device is
connected.
All Pro-Ject Phono Boxes with 18V or 20V can be powered with the Phono Stage
Output.

Should you encounter a problem that you are not able to alleviate or identify despite the above information, please contact your dealer for further advice. Only when the problem cannot be resolved there should the unit be sent to the responsible distributor in your country.
