Safety Tips

  • The electric scooter is designed for sports entertainment use. If you drive into a public road or area, there exists the risks similar to other vehicles may exist. You must abide your local traffic laws and follow guidance provided in this manual.

  • Driving into public roads or areas, you may encounter in road traffic injury risk due to improper driving/operations caused by others even you follow this safe driving guide completely. Just like the exposures pedestrians and bicyclists have shared the roads. As with all vehicles, the faster you drive, the longer it takes for your vehicle to stop. Hard, sudden brake may cause skidding to lose balance or even fall. Therefore, it is important to be aware of your surroundings, be vigilant at all times, drive under proper speed, and keep reasonable safe distance from others to give yourself enough distance to stop. Especially when you drive into an unfamiliar area, stay alert and drive slowly.

  • For new riders, it is strongly recommended to start with low speed setting and practice in a safe area to get yourself familiar with controlling the scooter.

  • Please respect the pedestrians right of way when driving. Stay clear of pedestrians at all limes and stay off walkways.

  • Do not lend electric scooters to people who are unfamiliar with riding to avoid injuries. If you decide to lend electric scooter to your
    friends, you are responsible to their safety and training.

  • Give your electric scooter a pre-riding inspection before each use. Do not operate if there are visible loose parts, the tire pressure appears low or tire overworn, and abnormal noise when turning. Check with local bike shop or contact [email protected] for assistance.

Braking Use

  1. Before braking, keep your body upright.
  2. Tires may be locked and lose turning capability if too much force is applied to the brakes. In this case, release the brake handle to unlock the tires.
  3. Apply front and rear brakes evenly as much as possible.
  4. The products have a certain degree of water resistance, but not completely water proof.
    Do not let water go beyond the bottom of battery compartment.
    Notice: Using only one brake will cause excessive brake pad wear and increase braking distance.
    Warning: It is dangerous to use only the front or rear brake which may cause skidding or loss of control. Especially on slippery or curved roads, you must slow down and use brake properly.

  • If there appears stain on the surface of electric scooter body, use a damp soft cloth to wipe it. For tough stains, use gentle non
    corrosive cleaning materials.
    Tip: Avoid cleaning using alcohol, gasoline, kerosene or other corrosive or flammable volatile chemical solvents.

  • They cause damage to body appearance and internal structures. It is prohibited to use pressure water gun spray to clean. Before cleaning, ensure that the electric scooter is shut down, cable unplugged and the rubber cover of the electric port closed to avoid serious damage or failure to the scooter.

  • When not in use, try to store electric scooters in dry and shady places indoors, so as to avoid prolonged storage in the open air. Outdoor environments such as sunlight exposure/ superheating I overheating accelerate the appearance of electric scooter and lire aging and reduce the service life of electric scooters and battery packs.

Maintenance of battery for electric scooter

  1. Do not use other models or brands of battery pack, otherwise there may be safety risk.
  2. it is forbidden to touch battery contacts and dismantle or pierce the shell. Avoid metal objects touching battery contacts causing short circuits. Otherwise, it may cause damage to the battery or casualties.
  3. Only use original charger provided.
  4. lmproper disposal of waste batteries may seriously pollute environment. Dispose batteries according to your national or local regulation. Protect natural environment together.
  5. After each use, please fully charge battery again to extend the battery life.
    Don’t place batteries at temperature above 123°F or below -4°F, for example, do not put the electric scooter or its battery inside
    cars exposed to summer sun. Prohibit to put batteries into fire, otherwise it may cause battery failure, overheating and even fire risk. If you do not use battery for more than 30 days, charge batteries to full power first. Store the batteries in a cool dry place and recharge every 60 days. Otherwise, the battery may be damaged.
    Tip: Fully charged electric scooter runs out of battery life completely around 120 days after standby. There is intelligent chip inside the battery to record battery charge and discharge. Damage caused by long time no charge will limit the battery capability to be recharged. This damage is not reversible or recoverable.
    Note: Non-professional is prohibited from disassembly of battery packs arbitrarily. Improper disassembly may cause safety accidents or damage to the battery.
