INTRODUCTION
This is a T harness kit that will help you more easily installation on your 2014-up Harley Davidson touring bike when you upgrade your sound system and add an amplifier with DSP (optional). This wiring includes everything you need to integrate the factory radio with your amplifier or DSP, such a high-end Hi to Low signal converter with speaker emulator (load resistor) to keep the radio happy and eliminate distortion, power harness outlet for the DSP and a high-quality RCA with noise rejection.

INSTALLATION
ATTENTION: Installation of mobile audio components require experience with a variety of mechanical and electrical procedures. Although this manual provides general installation and operation instructions, it does not show the exact installation methods for your motorcycle. If you do not have the required knowledge and experience to successfully complete the installation, consult an authorized dealer for a professional installation service.
- Disconnect the negative post (Ground) of the battery before you start the installation. This helps avoid codes module malfunction or any electrical issues.
- Consult your motorcycle service manual to remove the fairing to access the rear of the radio. This procedure requires experience to avoid damage to the parts of the motorcycle and in addition to this you should install the amplifier by passing the power cables from the battery to the area of the radio where the amplifier is going to be installed.
- Disconnect the main harness (Male connector) from radio and connect this to the female connector side of the T harness, and the other side of the harness that has the male connector connect it to the radio.
- Use the RCA connector to feed signal to the aftermarket amplifier or DSP.
- Use the Speakers wires to connect the aftermarket amplifier to the speakers using the factory wiring to the factory location speakers.
- Use the DSP power outlet to power up your DSP only, do not use this for power your amplifier or anything above of 2 amperes consumption. If you are not using a DSP, you can use just the remote output to turn on the aftermarket amplifier and leave the (+) and (-) wires insulated with heat shrink to avoid short circuits.
- Connect back your negative post (ground) of the battery and this should be ready to start to adjust your amplifier / DSP and start enjoying your upgraded sound system.
HARNESS DESCRIPTION
- Radio Female Connector, connect this to the Factory radio harness from the bike side.
- Hi to low converter with speaker emulator module (V4HL.V2).
- DSP power harness, connect this to power up a DSP optional, or us the remote to turn on the aftermarket amplifier.
- RCA Audio Output, connect this to the DSP/Amplifier low-level input.
- Fast connector for the DSP power line.
- Speaker Wires from the factory speaker location, connect this to the aftermarket amplifier.
- Radio Male Connector, connect this to the factory radio connector from the unit side.
