Body Fat Analyzer
The body composition consisting of the human body is divided into four: body
water, protein, minerals, and fat. This Body Fat Analyzer measures resistances
when electric current flows through the human body to estimate body
composition (Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA)). Containing the water
that conducts electricity well, muscles have low resistances; on the other
hand, fat contains no water and has high resistances. Based on these
differences, body composition is measured, and the measured information is
provided by the app.
This product can be used with mobile devices.( iPhone 5S iOS 9.0 or later /
Android OS 4.3.3 or later)
Safety Precautions When Measuring Body Composition
- Body composition measurement may be affected by food/water intake, sweating or urination, menstrual cycles, changes in water content throughout the day, outside temperature, body temperature, etc.
- As water metabolism in the body works by the hour, make sure to measure at the same time of day at room temperature (20~25℃).
- In order to avoid errors caused by water content in the body, please measure after at least two hours after waking up.
- In order to avoid errors caused by food, please measure while fasting before a meal or two hours after a meal.
- Please measure after discharging feces and urine.
- Measure before doing exercise or action that may reduce body water.
- If you measure after extreme exercise or at high body temperature, the measurement result may change.
- If you move or talk while measuring, the measurement result may change.
- Please stand up for about five minutes before measuring body composition and sit without putting the armpit and thigh on the body for the measurement.
- It is recommended that women not take measurements when the body’s water content increases during their menstrual cycle as the measurement result can be inaccurate in the period.
- Please remove electronic devices or metal accessories from your body before measuring.
- If you have metal implants in your body, please do not measure.
