Remote controller
GENERAL INFORMATION
Mount the transmitter holder onto the wall using the screws provided. Place the transmitter into the holder.
How to operate your ceiling fan
Restore electrical power to the outlet box by turning the electricity on at
the main fuse hox To make the fan operational, install two 1.5V AAA batteries
by removing the battery cover on the back of the transmitter, installing the
battery and replacing the battery cover.
- Adopt radio frequency wireless digit emission technique, biunique controlled, the matching code rate is less than one-millionth
- The receiver can be controlled by any angle of the transmitter in prescriptive space, unrestricted by direction with the memory function, the controller can save the status (direction) while the supply power OFF and resume to the original after re-load the power supply.
- The transmitter and receiver are matched at the factory. Please follow point 5 for a re-match when the match is failed.
- The matching process can be done by fan without the blades, the same transmitter can control another identical model ceiling fan.
- Learning code matching mode is used between transmitter and receiver. Turn ‘ON’ the supply power within 30 seconds and press the transmitter’s fan switch button ‘for 5 seconds, it can load normally after hearing a long sound ‘beep’, which means matching successfully and it can work normally. (PS: matching mode is not accepted after turn “ON” the supply power for 30 seconds.)
- When the transmitter can’t control the receiver, please check the battery switch touching normally or not, correction of the positive and negative, full or empty of the power.
- When the transmitter can’t control the receiver, please check if any similar remote control is controlling the products nearly, then check whether they are working, because a remote-controlled product with the same frequency will disturb each other.
- Low voltage of the battery will affect the sensitivity of the transmitter and the signal reception accordingly, (the indicated light will flash out its warning when the battery with the low voltage), must replace if the battery is getting low voltage.
- Please take out the battery from the transmitter when left unused for long time.
- When installing the fan, the fan ceiling canopy don’t press the antenna (or other wire), it is easy to break down the wire and short-circuited.
FAN MUST BE KEPT AT THE HIGH SPEED
Remote controller
GENERAL INFORMATION
Remote Control Operation
- Fan switch— press and release the button, the remote turns fan off.
- Speed switch-press and release the button. The remote operates the fan speed as follows: 6-lowest fan speed, 5-Med low fan speed, 4-Low fan speed; 3-Med fan speed; 2-Med high fan speed; 1 -Highest fan speed.
- Reversible switch- press and release the button controls direction, forward or reverse.
- Timing control of the fan. 1 hour / 4hour / 8hour.
- 1.5V AAA battery x 2pcs (not included)
- ON/OFF the light
- Natural wind (The fan speed automatic cycle between 1 to 6 speed) 8. Anti-theft function (the light ON 5-20 minutes every 2 hours)
Operation
After the fan is completely installed make sure that all connections are
secured and tightened to prevent any noise problems for loose parts.
Turn on the power and check the operation of fan. Speed settings for warm or
cool weather depend on factors such as room size, ceiling height, number of
fans and so on. Press and release the reversible switch button from the
transmitter to control fan direction: forward or reverse. Warm weather –
Forward: Fan turns counterclockwise direction. A downward airflow creates a
cooling effect as shown in illustration A. This allows you to set your air
conditioner on a higher temperature setting without affecting your comfort.
Cool-weather – Reverse: Fan turns clockwise direction. An upward airflow moves
warm air off the ceiling area as shown in illustration B. This allows you to
set your heating unit on a lower setting without affecting your comfort.
Maintenance
- Because of the fan’s natural movement, some connections may become loose. Check the support connections, brackets, and blade attachments twice a year. Make sure they are secure.
- Clean your fan periodically to help maintain its new appearance over the years. Do not use water when cleaning. This could damage the motor, or the wood, or possibly cause electrical shock.
- Use only a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the finish. The plating is sealed with a lacquer coating to minimize discoloration or tarnishing.
- There is no need to oil your fan.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

2. THE FAN IS NOISY
Make sure all motor housing screws are tened
Make sure the screws that aan blade to the motor are
Make sure the wire nut connectors are not ra against each other or the
interior wall of the switch housing
Allow 24-hour break-in period. Most noises associated with the new fan may
disappear during this me
If using a ceiling light kit, make sure the glassware is secured htly
Make sure there is a short distance/gap from the ceiling to the top of the
canopy. The canopy should not touch the ceiling!
Make sure your ceiling box is secure and that the rubber isolator pads are
used between the mounacket and outlet box
3. THE FAN WOBBLES
Verify all blades and blade bracket screws are secure (most fan wobble
problems are caused by loose parts). Once fan is properly installed, run the
ceiling fan for 10 minutes to let the fan self-adjust.
If wobble occurs aer running the fan for 10 minutes, verify blade level using
the following process:
a) select a point on the ceiling above the p of one of the blades. Then select
the fan blade and measure from the center of the selected blade to point on
the ceiling. Rotate the fan une next blade is positioned and repeat the
measurement using the same point from the ceiling for every blade.
Measurements should be within 1/8 inch.
b) If all deviations are less than 1/8 inch and the fan continues to wobble,
please contact Customer Service
Support@parrotuncle.com to order a
complimentary Blade Balancing Kit – If all deviations are less than 1/8 inch
and the fan cones to wobble, please contact Customer Service
Support@parrotuncle.com to order a
complimentary Blade Balancing Kit
4. LIGHT IS NOT WORKING
Check Bulb to make sure it is installed correctly
Remove the non-working bulb and replace it with a bulb that is known to be a
good working bulb To reset the remote control:
- Turn off power to the fan using the wall switch or circuit breaker.
- Remove batteries from the remote.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Replace ba and turn the power on
AFTER INSTALLATION
WOBBLE”
The fan blades have been adjusted in the factory to minimize any wobble
NOTE: CEILING FANS TEND TO MOVE DURING OPERATION DUE TO THE FACT THAT
THEY ARE MOUNTED ON A RUBBER GROMMET. IF THE FAN WAS MOUNTED RIGIDLY TO THE
CEILING, IT WOULD CAUSE EXCESS VIBRATION. MOVEMENT OF A FEW CENTIMETERS IS
QUITE ACCEPTABLE AND DOES NOT SUGGEST ANY PROBLEM TO REDUCE THE FAN WOBBLE:
PLEASE CHECK THAT ALL SCREWS WHICH SECURED THE MOUNTING BRACKET AND DOWNLOAD
ARE SECURE.
BALANCING A WOBBLING CEILING FAN:
For your convenience, a Balancing Kit is included; please follow this
procedure when balancing the fan:
-
Check that all blade and blade arm screws are secure.
-
Most fan wobbling problems are caused when blade levels are unequal. Check this level by selecting a point on the ceiling above the tip of one of the blades. Measure this distance. Rotate the fan until the next blade is positioned for measurement. Repeat for each blade. The distance deviation should be equal to 1/8″(0.32cm).
-
Use the enclosed Blade Balancing Kit if the blade wobble is still noticeable.
-
If the blade wobble is still noticeable, interchanging two adjacent (side by side) blades can redistribute the weight and possibly result in a smoother operation. WARNING:
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY, DO NOT BEND THE BLADE ARM WHILE INSTALLING, BALANCING THE BLADES, OR CLEANING THE FAN. DO NOT INSERT FOREIGN OBJECTS BETWEEN ROTATING FAN BLADES. NOISE When it is quiet(especially at night) you may hear occasional small noises. This is normal. Please allow a 24-hour “breaking-in” period, most noises associated with a new fan disappear during that time.
CARE AND CLEANING
- Periodic cleaning of your ceiling fan is the only maintenance required. Use a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the paint finish. Please make sure to turn off electricity power before you clean your fan
- Do not use water when cleaning your ceiling fan. It could damage the motor or the blades and create the possibility of an electrical shock.
- The motor has a permanently lubricated ball bearing. No need to oil
NOTE: MAKE SURE THE POWER IS OFF AT THE ELECTRICAL PANEL BOX BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT ANY CLEANING OR REPAIRS.
