IKEA 404.718.14 SANDVIVA Pot Holder
This potholder has been tested in accordance with EN ISO 21420:2020 and EN 407:2020, EU Regulation 2016/425 and Regulation 2016/425 on personal protective equipment, as amended to apply in GB.
Designation
Potholder for private use, Risk category II as per EU Regulation 2016/425 and Regulation 2016/425 on personal protective equipment, as amended to apply in GB.

Use
The potholder is designed to be used for protection against thermal risks
(contact heat) associated with removing hot items off the hobs of the types
usually used in domestic environment.
The potholder is intended to be used in dry condition.

One size.

This potholder is designed to offer protection against contact heat, at performance level 1, and complies with relevant requirements in EN ISO 21420: 2020 and EN 407: 2020.

Performance levels
Contact heat: performance level 1 (threshold time minimum 15 s when exposed to a temperature of 100°C). The potholder is not specifically designed to offer protection for burning behaviour, convective heat, and radiant heat, small splashes of molten metal and large quantities of molten metal.
Limitations
- This pot holder is designed to offer palm protection only.
- Only suitable for taking hot items off the hob.
- Keep away from naked flame and fire.
Storage and cleaning
The potholder is suitable to be cleaned in a dishwasher. The potholder should
be stored away from heat, cold and humidity.
Expiry date / end of service life
The end of service life depends on the condition of the potholder, usage,
care, storage, etc. The potholder should be inspected prior to each use and
damaged potholders should be replaced.
