INSTRUCTIONS

  • (+) POSITIVE: Connect this to the battery to be monitored directly to the positive post.
    • Remote Input: Use “REM-IN” to Connect the remote signal from the Head Unit to turn on the VMT1.
  • (-) NEGATIVE: Connect this to the battery to be monitored directly to the negative post. To get a more accurate reading of the battery, we recommend not using a chassis ground.
  • Remote Output: When the “REM-IN” input is detected from the Head Unit the VMT1 will turn-on the “REM-OUT”.

VOLTAGE PROTECTION

  • Low Voltage: When the voltage drops to 9.4V the “REM-OUT” will turn-off, if the voltage comes back to 11V or more, the “REM-OUT” will back turn-on.
  • VOLTAGE RANGE: 5 ~ 20 Volts
