- (12) Decorative Nails
INSTALLATION
Metal strips, painted with durable soft-white powder paint, provide a trimmed look to your installation.
- With short flange of the Trim Strip against furnace as shown in Figure A, lay one strip against the wall with top end touching celing.
- Lay the second strip over first with lower end touching fioor.
- Where the Trim Strips overlap, use end of lower Trim Strip to mark trim line on upper Trim Strip.
- Remove and cut off upper Trim Strip as marked. Remove burrs, if any.
- Install lower Trim Strip first. Use three of the decorative nails to secure the Trim Strip to the wall.
- Butt upper Trim Strip against lower Trim Strip and secure to wall with three decorative nails.
- Repeat steps one through six for the opposite side of the furnace.
