- Do not touch the print head or its components while or after printing has finished.
- Do not attempt to disassemble, alter, or apply heat to the product.
- Avoid dropping or subjecting the product to severe impact.
- Do not handle the power cord/power adapter with wet hands.
- Do not let the product contact water or other liquids.
- Do not use or store the product in the following places: direct sunlight, high temperature, high humidity or dust, or strong vibrations.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Keep the printer in a safe area to avoid tripping over the power cord.
Introduction
REKDOM WU550 wireless label printer is a great choice to have at your
office or home desk.
The printer allows you to conveniently connect to WiFi networks and a wireless
printer is a much better choice than a hard-wired one because it allows you to
place it in any convenient location. It is a wide-format label printer and
prints labels up to 4″ width including
4″x6″/4″x4″/4″x3″/4″x2″/4″x1 “/3″x3″/3″x2″/3″x1 “/2.25″x1 .25″/2″x1” labels.
It delivers 203dpi high resolution for commercial grade use and print speeds
up to 150mm/s. It will save you money since it is equipped with advanced
thermal technology: no ink or toner required. All you buy is the printer and
labels.
REKDOM WU550 wireless label printer works like a regular printer, it will
show “WU550 printer” in your computer after installing the wireless driver
software. It prints anything you send to it. Just make sure your label page

Connect Power and Load Your Label
Ensure the printer is OFF.
Plug the power cord into the power adapter. Plug the power adapter into the power interface on the back of the printer. Plug the other end of the power cord into a power outlet.
Press release button on both sides to open the cover. Load your labels and
ensure the paper guides are flush against the label with no gap. Close the
cover and turn power ON (l=ON). The printer will detect the label
automatically.
Note: Make sure the labels are properly loaded, with the printing side
facing up (towards the ceiling).
Connect to WiFi
Ensure the printer is ON before connecting to WiFi.
There are two methods to connect WU550 Printer to your WiFi network.
We recommend customers use Method ONE to connect to WiFi.
Method ONE: by using the WiFi password (security key)
Step1: Press and hold the feeder button of the printer until you hear two
beeps, then release the button; the button light will begin to flash. (Note:
If the light doesn’t flash, press the button again )
Step2: Go to your smartphone/tablet’s Settings or on your laptop/desktop
computer-> go to your Wi-Fi network list. Your device will automatically
search the “FSC-BW236-AP” network, join the “FSC-BW236-AP” network and enter
12345678 as password. (Note: You can use any smart device to configure if it
can be connected to WiFi network and has a browser.)
Step3: Open the web browser and type 192.168.1.1 into the web address field, fill in your network name (SSID) and password, then click “Submit”. Wait for the printer to complete the network configuration. If configuration is successful, it will print a [WiFi configure] label usually within 2 minutes.
