Battery Charging:

•  When using the searchlight for the first time or if it has not been used for a long time, you need to fully charge the searchlight for 7 hours before use.
• Ensure the lamp is switched OFF before charging.
• Press the compartment button 4 and remove the charging lead from the storage compartment 5.
• Connect the USB power cord to the AC charger and insert the other end of the cord plug into the micro USB port of unit 7 , then plugs the AC charger into any standard electrical outlet.
• Or connect the USB power cord to the car plug charger and insert unit 7 , then plug the car plug charger into the cigarette lighter the other end of the cord plug into the micro USB port of the socket on your car.
• Connect the other end of the USB lead to a power source.
• When your searchlight is charging, the LED indicator light next to the charging port 7 will illuminate (RED) The charging light will illuminate green once the searchlight is fully charged.

Note: It is not recommended to frequently leave on charge for extended charge periods nor to leave on permanent charge. When not in use, your charger should be disconnected from the main supply this will help to prolong the battery life.

Operational Instructions

• The light has three light modes of operation: Low High and Strobe.
• Press switch 3 once to enter Low mode and press it a second time for High mode.
• Press switch 3 a third time for strobe mode, press a fourth time, and turns the searchlight off.
• To adjust the handle, use the handle button to release the lock 2. Turn the handle to the desired position and release the button to lock the position.

Warning:

• Do not expose the battery to fire/high temperatures or extreme wet/cold conditions.
• Do not point the searchlight directly at people’s eyes since it will impair eyesight.
• Do not stare into the light beam.
• Do not solder directly onto the battery.
• Do not let the battery become wet or immerse the battery in water.
• Do not dispose of the battery in the domestic waste, please use the correct method of disposal.
• Do not operate with a damaged charging lead. Replace the lead immediately if it appears damaged.
• Unplug your product from any power source before attempting any routine cleaning or maintenance.
• Do not try to repair the unit or charger yourself. In case of any problems or questions please contact
  NightSearcher Limited or an authorized distributor.
  Note: Ensure the battery is charged every 3 months when stored for long periods.

Power Bank

• The power bank is located in the storage compartment, press button 4 to open the compartment and plug the USB plug into the USB Port 6 of the SL900. Plug the smaller end of the charging cord into the device to be charged. To reduce charging time be sure the searchlight is not on.

Safe disposal of waste electrical products and batteries
If at any time, you need to dispose of this product or parts of this product: Please note that waste electrical product batteries should not be disposed of with ordinary household waste. Recycle where facilities exist. Check with your local authority for recycling advice. Alternatively, NightSearcher is happy to take receipt of this product at end-of-life and will recycle it on your behalf.
