Operation Instruction

1. Boot up
   Once the charger is connected to an external power supply, the LUC V4 ELITE will start the self-test function. The LCD is lit up and charged with the default current of 0.5 A after 2 seconds.

Press the “CHANGE” button, charging current will switch according to the charging speed of 0.25A-0.5A-1.0A-2.0A for all slots, LUC V4 ELITE will make a “beep” sound reminder of every press of the “CHANGE” button. When insert the Ni-MH/Ni-Cd battery, the fastcharging current selection function of 2A & 1A will be automatically turned off.

4. LUC V4 ELITE displays parameters in dynamic state during charging. The charging stops automatically when the battery is fully charged, “Charged MAH” and “4.20V VOLTAGE” will be displayed on the LCD screen.

6. Input and output works simultaneously
   Connect the LUC V4 ELITE to the adapter and connect the device to the USB port. The USB output port automatically detects and stabilizes the discharge of 5V/1A to the device, and charges the battery with a constant\ current of 0.25A or 0.5A simultaneously.

7. Li-ion battery output
   When the LUC V4 ELITE is not connected to the power adapter, insert a full- charged lithium-ion 4.2V battery on slot 4, connect the USB port to the charging device, the charger will start charging the device.
   When the charging device is cut from the USB port and not re-connected within 30 seconds, the output will stop.

WARM PROMPT

• Connect the DC cable to the LUC V4 ELITE port before plug into a power source.
• Please make sure the battery is compatible with LUC V4 ELITE before charging, if not used correctly, it may cause damage to the battery or the charger.
• The 2A fast charging doesn’t apply to NiMH / Ni-Cd batteries, it only works on slot 1 and slot 4 with selected 2A, the other slots cannot be operated or charged unless the current is changed. At the meantime, the LCD screen display the battery parameters of slot 1 & slot 4 only.
• When the battery is insert reversely or there is a short circuit in the charger, the LCD screen will flicker of the corresponding slot until the error is resolved and the display screen will back to normal display.
• When the capacity of the lithium-ion battery is lower than 15% during. discharge, the LCD screen will flicker to indicate that the battery capacity is insufficient, which needs to be or recharged or replaced.
• For auxiliary emergency functions, discharge is based on the capacity of the battery.
• Output function only works for 3.6V/3.7V Li-ion batteries, NiMH / Ni-Cd batteries are accepted.
• There might be a 10% difference in the parameters display (capacity, voltage) when you try the same battery in different slots. It is a normal phenomenon as it 1s affected by the electronic components and workmanship inevitably.

WARNING: PLEASE READ BEFORE USE

• To prevent explosion, leakage or fire, do not charge the battery if the battery’s wrapper is damaged, otherwise, it will burn the charger.
• Do not use the charger in a flammable or explosive environment.
• Please keep the charger in a dry environment.
• Please take out the battery and unplug the DC cable while the charger is not in use.
• Keep the charger out-of-reach of children.
• To dispose of the charger, please comply with local regulatory processes for recycling or disposal.
• Please clean the charger regularly to maintain the cleanliness of the positive and negative contacts to deter foreign objects and prevent poor contact.
• Misusing or mishandling chargers can pose a SERIOUS RISK to personal injury, property damage, or even death.
• Never leave a charger while charging unattended.
