Specifications
STEP | Instructions |
---|---|
1 | Deck surface must be free of all grease, oil, dirt, dust, efflorescence and |
foreign matter. Clean the surface with a high-pressure nozzle or pressure
washer and use a quality cleanser like TSP, or Simple Green, and let the deck
dry out for the day.
2| Fix any damaged areas, if necessary, using Pool Patch Deck Patch. Proceed
when the patch is dry.
3| If you have the old-style kool decking material or natural concrete (that
was never painted and turns dark when it gets wet), apply Pool Patch Deck
Bonder with a ½” roller cover.
BUT, if you already have an acrylic deck system instead, skip Step #3. Do NOT
apply the Pool Patch Deck Bonder.
Before proceeding, the DECK temperature should be between 60-100°F with no
chance of rain.
4| If using multiple pails of Pool Deck Coating Paint, mix all pails in a
larger pail and mix thoroughly to reduce color variances. Do Not thin product
with water.
5| Can be applied with airless sprayer or paint roller. Paint roller is
recommended. Using a ¾” roller cover, apply two coats, letting the first coat
dry completely before applying the second coat. Spread rate is approximately
200-250 per 2 gallon pail. Coverage may vary depending on surface conditions
and application techniques.
Do not walk on the deck or expose to water for 48 hours. Do not place heavy
items like furniture on the deck for one week.
Cleanup using soap and water.
