Attention
- LilyPadz® do not work with inverted nipples
- Do not use if your nipples are sore of if you have thrush (fungal infection).
- The use of Nipple cream (e.g. lanolin) can affect the adhesiveness of the LilyPadz®, so apply cream to only the nipple.
- Each pair is intended for use by one person only.
- Contact your doctor if you experience irritation or redness on the ski
How do LilyPadz® work?
LilyPadz® work according to the age-old principle that pressure on the nipple, such as from a finger, temporarily prevents the leakage of breast milk. Because the pressure from the outside is greater than the pressure from within the breast, no milk will leak. LilyPadz® maintain the pressure exerted at the time of application. This pressure ultimately determines success.
When milk production is not yet in balance with your baby’s drinking needs, it can happen that the pressure from the inside becomes greater than outside. There is then a chance of leakage. It is therefore advisable to reapply the LilyPadz® during this period, between feedings. LilyPadz® cannot be used to skip feedings.
Usage
Clean the LilyPadz® before first use.
Figure 1 : Very easy! Wash your hands and peel the LilyPadz® of the
plastic dome. Turn the LilyPadz® inside out with the sticky side to your skin.
Make sure your breast and the LilyPadz® are dry and clean.

nipple.

Cleaning Instructions
- Make sure the LilyPadz® stay clean, grease and dust free.
- Clean the LilyPadz® after each use with hot water and degreasing soap, without oil or cream. Dishwashing liquid gives a good result.
- Gently rub the soap with your fingers over the sticky side of the LilyPadz®. Rinse with warm water.
- Shake the water off the LilyPadz® and let them air dry in a dust-free environment.
- Do not dry with cloth or tissue, this will adversely affect the effect of the LilyPadz®.
- Do not clean in the dishwasher.
Storage
When not in use, keep your LilyPadz® on the plastic domes and cover them with the third dome. Store them in the supplied bag.
Disinfection
Disinfection is possible by soaking the LilyPadz® for 1 hour in 50% water and 50% vinegar. Then, clean as above (cleaning instructions). Boiling or using a microwave sterilizer shortens the shelf life of LilyPadz®. Wear and tear caused by this is not covered by the product warranty.
Use During Feeding:
It is possible to use LilyPadz® on the breast that is not feeding. However, with a strong letdown reflex, LilyPadz® can becomes loose. Often this can be prevented by reapplying the LilyPadz® before feeding and possibly giving some extra pressure with the wrist.
