Working Principle

Evaporative cooling operates based on the principle of heat absorption through moisture evaporation. In simple terms, as water evaporates, heat is extracted from the air. You experience this phenomenon when you emerge from a swimming pool or shower and feel the coolness as water evaporates from your skin’s surface. Your evaporative cooler functions following the same principle. The fan draws in hot outside air and passes it through the moist cooling pads, where the air undergoes evaporation and subsequently gets discharged from the cooler, now cooled.
