INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS

Pre-installation checks (very important)
- Ensure that the power supply is off (installation without turning off the power supply may be a safety hazard)
- Confirm that the wiring harness is normal and not damaged

- Pay attention to whether the mounting bearings are on the same level, and ensure that the bolts are originally fitted

- Please pay attention to the elasticity of the pulley and the synchronous belt when installing and pay attention to the number of grooves of the synchronous belt to match the number of pulley axes.

Installation steps
_ Note: _Professional installation is recommended
- First disconnect the battery connection harness
- Locate the alternator on the vehicle and use a serpentine belt Tool for loosening the belt and removing it from the alternator pulley
- Remove the bolts supporting the alternator, number of of bolts is a minimum of 2 and no more than 4, with specifications depending on different makes and models
- Remove the alternator, then unplug and remove all nuts connecting electrical components
- Reverse the process to install the new alternator, connecting the power plug and wires to the new alternator
- Once the alternator is slid into place, begin installing the old bolts into the correct position put the alternator pulley back in place and secure it. Be sure to check that the pulley is aligned with the belt tensioner
- Use the serpentine belt tool to control the desired tension and slide the belt back onto the pulleys, the tool can then be released by the tension on the belt
- Reconnect the battery cables and start the car, as well as alternator installation notes
