Include: The main unit, AC Adapter, Manual, 45 RPM Adapter, AUX Cord.
Essential Setup
- Plug the power adapter into the electrical outlet and connect other end to the back of the unit.
- Place the unit on a flat and level surface. The selected location should be stable and free from vibration.
- Plug the power adapter into the electrical outlet and connect other end to the back of the unit.
- Extend the FM antenna.
- Turn on the unit by rotating the Volume knob clockwise until you hear a ‘click’ sound, and the two LED backlight(Amber) on the dial will light up.
- To power off the unit, rotate the Volume knob anticlockwise until you hear a ‘click’ sound, and the two LED backlight(Amber) on the dial will turn off.
To Open Turntable Cover
- Lift the turntable cover all the way up until it stops.
- Lower the cover slowly until the latch engages. If the latch does not engage, pull the lower bar by hand.
- The cover will now stay open.
To Close Turntable Cover
- Lift the cover all the way up until it stops.
- The latch should disengage and you may now slowly lower the cover. If the latch does not disengage, push out the lower bar by hand.
CAUTION : Make sure you hold the cover to avoid pinching your fingers as it closes.
Phono Operation
- Turn on the unit and open the cover.
- The unit defaults BT mode, and you have to press the PHONO button to switch to the phono mode, the indicator above the button will light red.
- Detach the stylus protector by pressing both sides and pulling straight in the direction shown.
4. Place a vinyl record on the Turntable by aligning the Turntable Spindle to
the record hole.
5. Slide the Speed Selector to 33⅓, 45 , or 78 to match the play speed of the
record.
6. Unlock the Hold Down Clip.
7. Move the Tone arm gently to the edge of the record. The turntable will
begin to turn.
8. Rotate the Volume Knob to adjust the volume.
9. When playback has finished, slightly lift the tone arm using the Lift
Lever and return it to the Tone Arm Rest.
Note:
- The 45 RPM Adapter was packaged with this manual.
- Put the 45 RPM Adapter across the Turntable Spindle if play a 45 RPM record.
- The Speed Indicator will illuminate, indicating different speeds. 33⅓ RPM: Green; 45 RPM: Maya Blue; 78 RPM: Pale Syan.
Bluetooth Operation
- Turn on the unit.
- The indicator above the BT button blinks in blue, press and hold the BT button, and the indicator will blink faster indicating the unit is in pairing state.
- Turn on your external Bluetooth device and pair it with the “Hearth & Hand 04” device.
- A sound will be heard and the indicator will turn to solid blue.
- Play music on your external Bluetooth device.
- To adjust the volume, rotate the Volume Knob or operate your external Bluetooth device.
- To pause or stop the music, press the BT button on the unit or operate your external Bluetooth device.
- To disconnect the current Bluetooth, press and hold the BT button.
AUX Operation
- Turn on the unit.
- Insert one end of the 3.5mm AUX Cable into the AUX IN Jack on the rear of the unit.
3. Start to play your favorite music on your playing device.
Note: The AUX mode has the highest priority over other modes. When play other modes ensure the AUX Cable have been plugged out from the unit.
Radio Operation
- Turn on the unit.
- Press the AM or FM button to enter AM or FM mode, and the indicator above will light red.
- Extend the FM antenna when you want to listen to FM stations.
- Rotate the Tuning Knob to search for available stations.
- Adjust the volume by rotating the Volume Knob.
You can improve the signal receiving strength by:
Extend the FM Antenna to a higher position.
Turn the unit to face different directions.
Move the unit to a different place.
Connect the FM Antenna to your outdoor antenna.
Maintenance
- Handle with care, as the stylus is delicate. Use of a bent or broken stylus may damage the record and cause the turntable to malfunction.
- Do not expose the stylus to extreme heat.
- Contact a qualified repair company, if you experience difficulty in changing the stylus.
Removing an Old Stylus
- Insert a flathead screwdriver at the tip of the stylus and push down to the direction “A” as shown below.
- Pull the stylus out toward direction “B” as shown below.
Installing a New Stylus
- Hold the tip of the stylus and insert the other edge by pressing toward direction “C” as shown below.
- Push the stylus up toward direction “D” as shown below, until it locks at the tip.
