Product Usage Instructions

Charging and Initial Setup

  1. Charge the speaker before use by connecting it to an AC adapter using the provided USB (Type C to A) cable.
  2. Turn on the speaker by pressing the Power button. The Bluetooth LED will light white for 3 seconds and then blink blue.

Connecting to a Smartphone via Bluetooth

  1. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and search for LG-XG2T(XX) in the device list.
  2. Once found, connect to the speaker. The Bluetooth LED will turn blue once connected.
  3. Play music on your smartphone to test the connection.

Using the LG XBOOM App

  1. Download and install the LG XBOOM app from Google Play or the App Store on your smartphone.
  2. Open the app to access additional features like EQ, Wireless Party Link, Sleep Timer, and Settings.

FAQ

  • How do I know if the speaker is fully charged?
    • The charging indicator will turn off once the speaker is fully charged.
  • Can I use the speaker while it’s charging?
    • Avoid using the speaker while charging to prevent any electrical hazards.
  • What should I do if the Bluetooth connection is unstable?
    • Try moving the speaker and smartphone closer together to improve signal strength.

Connecting and Using the Speaker

1 Connecting and Using the Speaker

  1.  Charge the speaker before using it and connect the speaker to an AC adapter (not provided) by using the provided USB (Type C to A) cable.

Connect the speaker to a smartphone via Bluetooth

2 Connect the speaker to a smartphone via Bluetooth

  • A Press the Power button on the speaker to turn it on. Bluetooth LED lights white for 3 seconds and then blinks blue.
  • B Press the Settings button on the smartphone and select Bluetooth. Turn on the Bluetooth function.
  • C Find “LG-XG2T(XX)” on the device list on the smartphone and connect to it. Once the smartphone is connected via Bluetooth, the Bluetooth LED will turn on blue.

3 Connecting the LG XBOOM App

  • A Find LG XBOOM app on the Google Play or App Store and install it on your smartphone.
  • B Run the LG XBOOM app and use more features. (EQ, Wireless PartyLink, Sleep Timer, Setting etc.)

CAUTION:

  • It is recommended that you use the 5 V AC adapter (more than 2 A) with this device. If you do not use the recommended adapter, charging is unavailable or charging time may differ.
  • To avoid fire or electric shock, do not open the unit. contact a qualified personnel only.
  • Do not leave the unit in a place near the heating appliances or subject to direct sunlight, moisture, or mechanical shock.
  • The Power Plug is the disconnecting device. In case of an emergency, the Power Plug must remain readily accessible.
  • To clean the unit, use a soft, dry cloth. If the surfaces are extremely dirty, use a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild detergent solution. Do not use strong solvents such as alcohol, benzine, or thinner, as these might damage the surface of the unit.
  • Do not use volatile liquids such as insecticide spray near the unit. Wiping with strong pressure may damage the surface. Do not leave rubber or plastic products in contact with the unit for a long period of time.
  • Do not place the unit over the vehicle’s air bag. When the air bag deploys, it may result in injury. Before using in the car, fix the unit.
  • Do not use the handsfree function during driving a car.
  • Do not leave the unit on an unstable place such as high shelves. it may fall down because of the vibration of the sound.
  • Do not use high voltage products around this product. (ex. Electrical swatter) This product may malfunction due to electrical shock.
  • CAUTION when using this product in environments of low humidity.
  • It may cause static electricity in environments of low humidity.
  • To prevent static electricity, it is recommended to touch metal objects before using this product.

How to Safely remove the batteries or the battery pack from the equipment:

To Remove the old batteries or battery pack, follow the assembly steps in reverse order. To prevent contamination of the environment and bring on possible threat to human and/or animal health, the old batteries or the battery pack must be put in an appropriate container at designated collection points. Do not dispose of batteries or battery pack together with other waste. It is recommended that you use local, free reimbursement systems batteries or battery packs, (may not be available in your area). The batteries or the battery pack should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
