DURAL DURABASE CI-H Wall Heating Cable Carrier Mat
DURABASE CI-H the combined decoupling membrane and underfloor/wall heating cable carrier mat.
QUICK START GUIDE

Prime the surface and level if necessary.

Mix tile adhesive Mark the installation area Cut sheeting and sealing tapes to size.

Apply tile adhesive to the surface with a 6 x 6 mm notched trowel.
TIP: Only apply as much as can be installed in 30 minutes. Align the sheet, attach and lay the DURABASE CI-H mat without creases (butt joint installation).
Attention : Expansion joints must be taken into account every 40m2. -
After applying all DURABASE CI-H sheets, observe the tile adhesive manufacturer‘s drying times before continuing work.

Lay the heating cables according to your requirements.

Follow the manufacturer‘s instructions for installation and connection!

The following products can be fixed to CI-H Porcelain or Ceramic Tiles

- Wooden Flooring

Please refer to the Manufacturer for the correct adhesive to use and the recommended bed depth.
WATERPROOF/TANKING
DURABASE CI-H can be used as part of an indoor waterproofing /tanking system. DURABASE CI-H must be sealed at all corners and joints with a sealing tape. DURAL produce a range of waterproof sealing tapes. Please contact for more information.
- Seal the corners with corner tape and waterproof adhesive ( such as the DURAL
- DURABASE ET-S internal corners and DURAL CLASSIC
- FLEX waterproof adhesive ). Please note that the cables must be installed before installing the sealing components.
- Install the sealing tapes cut to size using a suitable adhesive sealant in all corners and wallto-floor, as well as butt joints.
