ABOUT COPPER WITH PATINA
Copper has a living surface so it will continually lighten and darken over
time, creating the beautiful patina you see now. Copper protects itself from
the elements, this natural patina process is what gives copper its anti-
bacterial and anti-microbial properties. If anything harsh, acidic or chemical
based is allowed to sit on the surface, the patina will be stripped off and
expose raw copper. The copper will start to protect itself, and begin to re-
patina, until it eventually reaches its equilibrium and the patina matches the
rest of the surface. When cleaning copper, it is common to see brown patina
particles on the cloth because of the living finish, this is nothing to worry
about.
How do you speed up this process? The more water and oxygen that comes into
contact with the raw spot, the faster it will patina. Copper is constantly
trying to stay at a state of equilibrium and will not stay in its raw state.
NOTE: There is no finish applied to any of Premier’s Copper Products. They are 99.6% pure copper, the other 0.4% are trace minerals, none of which are lead.
INSTALLATION
For a seamless installation, have your plumber use clear “neutral cure”
silicone. On dark brown finish sinks, you can use or our Premier Copper
Products brand oil rubbed bronze colored, “neutral cure” silicone, model:
C900-ORB. We do not recommend using white plumbers putty, as it will harshly
contrast with all finishes of our copper sinks and drains.
Every Premier Copper Products sink is handmade by artisans out of pure copper.
We do not provide any installation templates, as each sink may vary slightly
in size. If a template is needed, please use your actual sink to create a
template. It is important to not use the listed dimensions for a template as
there may be slight variances.

CARE AND CLEANING – DAILY
When you finish using your sink, adopt the simple method of “rinse and wipe”.
It is important to not leave food, liquids, dishes, soaps or toothpaste
sitting on the surface of the sink. Acids and chemicals can alter the finish
and remove the patina, exposing the raw copper. When water dries, it can leave
behind calcium stains and marks. Remember to rinse with water and wipe with a
dish towel after use.
NOTE: Copper is a natural anti-bacterial surface, it is never necessary to disinfect or scrub your copper.
WHEN NEEDED
If you feel the surface has lost its luster, use a clear, mild, non-citrus,
liquid soap and a non-scratch sponge to gently cleans the surface. Rinse with
water and wipe dry with a dish towel or microfiber cloth.
NOTE: you may notice some brown spots on your sponge when you wipe off
your copper. Do not worry, this is perfectly normal, you are removing some of
the patina that has built up over time.
To add an extra layer of protection and enhance the beauty of the finish, we
recommend using Premier Copper Products Surface Protectant Bees Wax Spray,
model: W900-WAX.
CLEANSERS
To maintain the natural patina, it is important to use a gentle cleanser.
Avoid using products that contain any abrasives, ammonia, bleach, citrus,
perfumes and alcohol as they can remove the patina and expose the raw copper.
When using new products and soaps, always test a small area before applying to
the entire surface.
CARING FOR LIGHT SPOTS
If a substance removes the patina, do not worry, your copper surface has a
living finish, and the patina will naturally regenerate over time. The best
thing to do is clean the area with clear mild soap and a non-scratch sponge or
cloth to remove any remaining acid or chemical. Do not wax the sink until the
spots have darkened back with natural patina. The more water and oxygen that
come in contact with the raw spots, the faster they will patina. Waxing will
slow the natural darkening process as it protects the surface from the
environment. Use your sink as you normally would and you will notice the spots
will darken and blend back into the sink.
WARRANTY
Limited warranty is nontransferable and excludes damage due to: normal wear and tear, harsh air or water conditions, abrasive cleaners and/or materials, installation error, product misuse, accidental damage, improper handling or improper maintenance. This warranty does not cover: finish, shipping costs, labor costs and/or damage incurred in installation, repair, or replacement, nor does it include any other kind of loss, incidental or consequential damages. Scratches, stains, hard water deposits, and discoloring that can occur under normal use is not covered. This warranty is extended to the original consumer only, and excludes product damage due to product abuse, or product misuse, whether performed by a contractor, service company, or the consumer. Limited warranty excludes all well water systems, commercial and business usage. To make a warranty claim, the original purchaser is required to provide proof of purchase with an original, dated, sales receipt, from an authorized dealer. Shipping charges may apply on any replacement parts. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary by state/province. DRAINS
Premier Copper Products warrants its drains and finishes, under normal use, to
be free from defects in materials or workmanship, leak free,for a limited
period of two (2) years from date of purchase. Premier Copper Products will
provide, at its sole discretion, replacement part(s) or product to replace
those which have proven defective in materials or workmanship. Defects or
damage caused by the use of other than genuine Premier Copper Products
replacement parts will void this limited warranty. In no event shall the
responsibility of Premier Copper Products exceed the purchase price of the
drain.
FAUCETS
Tru Faucets warrants its faucets under normal use, to be free from defects in
materials or workmanship, leak and drip free, for a limited period of six (6)
months from date of purchase. Tru Faucets will provide, at its sole
discretion, replacement part(s) or product to replace those which have proven
defective in materials or workmanship. Defects or damage caused by the use of
other than genuine Tru Faucets replacement parts will void this limited
warranty. In no event shall the responsibility of Tru Faucets exceed the
purchase price of the faucet.
SINKS, BATHTUBS & RANGE HOODS
Premier Copper Products sinks, bathtubs and range hoods are warranted to be
free of manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for
as long the original consumer purchaser owns their home. Ventilation systems
purchased through Premier Copper Products are warranted through the
manufacturer who produces them.
LIGHTING, TABLE TOPS & ACCESSORIES
Premier Copper lighting fixtures, table tops, mirrors and all accessories are
warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year
from the date of purchase. Premier Copper Products will, at its discretion,
repair or replace on a case-by-case basis, with no guarantee. All costs of
installation and removal of the fixture are the responsibility of the
consumer.

You will be contacted within three business days of submitting your claim.
Please provide the following information:
- Provide the name/description for the product you are submitting the claim.
- Explain the defect/problem.
- Your name, address, phone number and email address.

- Submit images and/or video of the issue you are experiencing.
