WARNING:

Do not use means to accelerate the defrosting process or to clean, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.

The appliance must be stored in a room without continuously operating ignition sources (for example: open flames, an operating gas appliance or an operating electric heater).

Do not pierce or burn.

Be aware that refrigerants may not contain an odour.

The appliance must be installed, operated and stored in a room with a floor area larger than 3 m:

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mentao capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given superivision or instruction concering use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
The wiring method should be in line with the local wiring standard.
AII the cables shall have got the European authentication certificate. During installation, when the connecting cables break off, it must be assured that the grouding wire is the last one to be broken off.
The explosion-proof breaker of the air conditioner should be all-pole switch. Distance between its two contacts should not be no less than 3mm. Such means for disconnection must be incorporated in the wiring.
Make sure installation is done according to local wiring regulation by professional persons. -
Make sure ground connection is correct and reliable.
A leakage explosion-proof breaker must be installed. -
Do not use a refrigerant other than the one indicated on the outdoor unit(R32) when installing, moving or repairing. Using other refrigerants may cause trouble or damage to the unit, and personal injury.
This appliance contains a UV-C lamp.
WARNING:
- Read the maintenance instructions before opening the appliance.
- Eye or skin irritation may result from exposure from top air inlet and inner part. During air filter taking and putting for maintenance, please make sure that the power is cut off before approaching the product.
- UV-C barriers bearing the ultraviolet radiation hazard symbol should not be removed.
- Appliances that are obviously damaged must not be operated.
- Do not operate UV-C lamps outside of the appliance.
- The appliance must be disconnected from the power supply before replacing or cleaning or other maintenance of the UV-C lamp.
- Front panels bearing the ultraviolet radiation hazard symbol which have UV-C radiation are provided with a hall switch to interrupt the power to the UV-Clamps for your safety. Do not over-ride hall switch by magnet and other similar material.
- Before opening front panels bearing the ultraviolet radiation hazard symbol for the conducting user maintenance, it is recommended to disconnect the power.
- If the UV-Clamp is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- Unintended use of the appliance or damage to the housing may result in the escape of dangerous UV-C radiation. UV-C radiation may, even in small doses, cause harm to the eyes and skin.

Operation
Clock set
Attention:
The distance between the signal transmission head and the receiver hole
should be within 7m without any obstacle as well. When electronic-started type
fluorescent lamp or change-over wireless telephone is installed in room, the
receiver is apt to be disturbed in receiving the signals, so the distance to
the indoor unit should be shorter. Full display or unclear display during
operation indicates the batteries have been used up. Please change batteries.
If the remote controller can’t run normally during operation, please remove
the batteries and reload several minutes later.
NOTE:
Remove the batteries in case unit won’t be in usage for a long period.
LOCK/LIGHT/RESET/EXTRA FUNCTION
AUTO, COOL, HEAT, DRY, FAN Operation
Mode | Note |
---|---|
AUTO | In AUTO mode, the air conditioner will automatically select Cool or Heat |
operation according to room temperature. When FAN is set to AUTO, the air
conditioner automatically adjusts the fan speed according to room temperature.
COOL| Cooling only
DRY| In DRY mode , when room temperature becomes lower than temp.setting+2°C,
the unit will run intermittently at LOW speed regardless of FAN setting.
HEAT| In HEAT mode, warm air will blow out after a short period of the time
due to cold-draft prevention function. When FAN is set to AUTO,the air
conditioner automatically adjusts the fan speed according to room temperature.
FAN| In FAN mode , the unit will not operate in COOL or HEAT mode but only in
FAN mode, AUTO is not available in FAN mode. And temp. setting is disabled. In
FAN mode, Sleep operation is not available.
HEALTH Operation
I FEEL Operation
Attention:
- It is recommended to turn on the UV sterilization function for 1-2 hours in one day, longer time will affect the life of the UV lamp.
- Do not look directly at the UV lamp or touch it with your hands when the sterilizing function is on. Please turn off the sterilizing function before opening the panel.
- Tinged blue light may appear near the air conditioning inlet when the sterilizing function is on.
- Only when the internal fan has run and health function turned on, the UV lamp will be lighted.
Comfortable SLEEP
Before going to bed, you can simply press the SLEEP button and unit will operate in SLEEP mode and bring you a sound sleep.
In HEAT mode
1 hour after SLEEP mode starts, temp. will become 2Clower than temp. setting.
After another 1 hour, temp. will decrease by 2C fur ther. After more another 3
hours, temp. will rise by 1C further. The unit will run for further 3 hours
and then stop. Temp. is lower than temp. setting so that room temperature
won’t be too high for your sleep.
In AUTO mode
The unit operates in corresponding SLEEP mode, which adapted to the
automatically selected operation mode.
In FAN mode
It has no SLEEP function.
When quiet sleeping function is set to 8 hours, the quit sleeping time can not
be adjusted. When TIMER function is set, the quiet sleeping function can’t be
set up. After the sleeping function is set up, if user resets TIMER ON
function, the sleeping function will be cancelled,the unit will be in the
state of timing-on, if user resets TIMER OFF function, either of their
operation time is ended first, the unit will stop automatically, and the other
mode will be cancelled.
Note to the power failure resume:
Press the SLEEP button ten times in five seconds and enter function after
hearing four sounds.And press the sleep button ten times within five seconds
and leave this function after hearing two sounds.
Power Failure Resume Function
If the unit is started for the first time, the compressor will not start
running unless 3 minutes have elapsed. When the power resumes after power
failure, the unit will run automatically, and 3 minutes later the compressor
starts running.
HEALTH AIRFLOW Operation
Attention:
- Do not direct the flap by hand. Otherwise, the grille will run incorrectly. If the grille does not run correctly, stop for a minute and then start, and adjust by using the remote controller.
- Remote controller can memorize each operation status. When starting it next time, just press ON/OFF button and unit will run in previous status.
When running in Turbo, the fan speed is the highest.
When running in Quiet, the fan speed is super-slow.
NOTE:
During Turbo operation, in rapid HEAT or COOL mode , the room will show
inhomogeneous temperature distribution. It will effect desired air temperature
that unit is in QUIET operation for a long period.
SWING Operation
NOTE:
- When humidity is high, condensate water might occur at air outlet if all vertical louvers are adjusted to left or right.
- It is not advisable to keep horizontal flap at downward position for a long time in COOL or DRY mode, otherwise, con-densate water might occur.
- As cold air flows downward in COOL mode, adjusting air flow horizontally will be much more helpful for a better air circulation.
SELF-CLEAN Operation
NOTE:
- This function is invalid in TIMER / SLEEP mode.
- After this mode starts, the air volume may reduce, have no airflow, or even cold airflow blowing.
- It is normal if the unit makes some sound when the air expands with heat and contracts with cold.
- The “CL” display time may last differently on the remote controller and panel.
- If the outside ambient temperature is below zero, error code “F25 “may be show up during self-cleaning operation, which is normal protection, please turn off the power and restart after 10 seconds.
- The best condition to run this mode is temperature is between 20C-27C , the humidity is between 35%-60% indoors, and the temperature is between 25C-38C (cool- ing season)outdoors.
- It is hard for the air to frost if the air is too dry (humidity< 20%). The condensate water may increase if the humidity of the air is too high (humidity>70%).
ECO SENSOR Operation
NOTE: A human sensor is used to detect changes in the infrared radiation emitted by human bodies. In case of the following conditions, the detection may not be accurate:
- High room temperature, where the ambient temperature is close to body temperature.
- People wear a lot or lie on their stomach or back.
- The speed of human movement exceeds the sensitivity of the sensor.
- Frequent movements of pets, frequent swing of curtains or other indoor objects due to the wind.
- Moving targets go beyond the detection range of the sensor.
- The left and right ends of the indoor unit are installed too close to the wall.
- There is direct sunlight inside the room.
- The air conditioner operates in a room where ambient temperature fluctuates sharply. Besides, if a person is at the border of two air blowing areas, the following air will be sent to these two areas respectively or be swept automatically. The avoiding air will avoid these two areas or be swept automatically.
TIMER Operation
Every time the button is pressed, time setting increases or decreases 1 min,
if kept pressed, it will increase rapidly. It can be adjusted within 24 hours.
Confirm timer setting
After adjust the time, press the button and confirm the time ON or OFF button
will not flash any more.
Cancel timer setting
Press the button the time display eliminated.
NOTE: After replacing batteries or a power failure happens, time setting should be reset. According to the time setting sequence of TIME ON or TIME OFF, either Start-Stop or Stop-Start can be achieved.

ON/OFF operation and test operation
ON/OFF Operation:
-
Use this operation only when the remote controller is defective or lost, and with function of emergency running, air conditoner can run automatically for a while.

When the emergency operation switch is pressed, the “Pi” sound is heard once, which means the start of this operation.
-
When power switch is turning on for the first time and emergency operation starts, the unit will run automatically in the following modes:
-
It is impossible to change the settings of temp. and fan speed, It is also not possible to operate in timer or dry mode.
Test operation:
Test operation switch is the same as emergency switch.
- Use this switch in the test operation when the room temperature is below 16 ºC, do not use it in the normal operation.
- Continue to press the test operation switch for more than 5 seconds. After you hear the “Pi” sound twice, release your finger from the switch: the cooling operation starts with the air flow speed “Hi”.
Loading of the battery

Remove the battery cover;

Load the batteries as illustrated. ies, resetting key (cylinder); Be sure that the 2 R-03 batter-loading is in line with the “+”/“-”;

Load the battery, then put on the cover again.

Indoor Unit Installation
Necessary Tools for Installation
- Driver

- Flaring tool

Power Source
- Before inserting power into receptacle, check the voltage without fail.
- The power supply is the same as the corresponding nameplate.
- Install an exclusive branch circuit of the power.
- A receptacle shall be set up in a distance where the power cable can be reached. Do not extend the cable by cutting it.

The models adopt HFC refrigerant R32
If using the left side drain pipe, make sure the hole is got through.
The distance between the indoor unit and the floor should be morethan 2m.

Indoor Unit Installation
Fitting of the Mounting Plate and Positioning of the wall Hole
When the mounting plate is first fixed
- Carry out, based on the neighboring pillars or lintels, a proper leveling for the plate to be fixed against the wall, then temporarily fasten the plate with one steel nail
- Make sure once more the proper level of the plate, by hanging a thread with a weight from the central top of the plate, then fasten securely the plate with the attachment steel nail.
- Find the wall hole location A/C using a measuring tape
When the mounting plate is fixed side bar and lintel
- Fix to side bar and lintel a mounting bar, Which is separately sold, and then fasten the plate to the fixed mounting bar.
Refer to the previous article, ” When the mounting plate is first fixed, for the position of wall hole.
Making a Hole on the Wall and Fitting the Piping Hole Cover
- Make a hole of 60 mm in diameter, slightly descending to outside the wall
- Install piping hole cover and seal it off with putty after installation
Insaiaton of the indoor unit

[ Rear piping ]
- Draw pipes and the drain hose, then fasten them with the adhesive tape
[Left Left-rear piping ] In case of left side piping, cut away, with a nipper,
the lid for left piping.
In case of left-rear piping, bend the pipes according to the piping direction
to the mark of hole for left-rear piping which is marked on heat insulation
materials.
- Insert the drain hose into the dent of heat insulation materials of indoor unit.
- Insert the indoor/outdoor electric cable from backside of indoor unit, and pull it out on the front side, then connect them.
- Coat the flaring seal face with refrigerant oil and connect pipes.
Cover the connection part with heat insulation materials closely, and make sure fixing with adhesive tape
Indoor/outdoor electric cable and drain hose must be bound with efrigerant
piping by protecting tape.
[ Other direction piping ]
- Cut away, with a nipper, the lid for piping according to the piping direction and then bend the pipe according to theposition of wall hole. When bending, be careful not to crash pipes.
- Connect beforehand the indoor/outdoor electric cable, and then pull out the connected to the heat insulation of connecting part specially.
Fixing the indoor unit body
- Hang surely the unit body onto the upper notches of the mounting plate. Move the body from side to side to verify its secure fixing.
- In order to fix the body onto the mounting plate,hold up the body aslant from the underside and then put it down perpendicularly
Unloading of indoor unit body
- When you unload the indoor unit,please use your hand to arise the body to leave agraffe,then lift the bottom of the body outward slightly and lift the unit aslant until it leaves the mounting plate.
Connecting the indoor/outdoor Electric Cable
Removing the wiring cover
Remove terminal cover at right bottom corner of indoor unit, then take off
wiring cover by removing its screws.
When connecting the cable after installing the indoor unit
- Insert from outside the room cable into left side of the wall hole, in which the pipe has already existed
- Pull out the cable on the front side. and connect the cable making a l0op
When connecting the cable before installing the indoor unit
- Insert the cable from the back side of the unit, then pull it out on the front side
- Loosen the screws and insert the cable ends fully into terminal block, then tighten the Screws
- Pull the cable slightly to make sure the cables have been properly inserted and tightened
- After the cable connection never fail to fasten the connected cable with the wiring cover.
Note:
When connecting the cable, confirm the terminal number of indoor and outdoor
units carefully. If wiring is not correct, proper operation can not be carried
out and will cause defect

- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similar qualified person. The type of connecting wire is HOSRN-F Or HOTRN.F
- If the fuse an PC board is broken please change it with the type of T3164/250VAC (Indoor)
- The wiring method should be in line with the local wiring standard
- After installation, the power plug should be easily reached
- Abreaker should be incorporated into fixed wiring. The breaker should be all-pole switch and the distance between its two contacts should be not less than 3mm.
Maintenance
For Smart Use of The Air Conditioner
Esay maintenance (Ask your dealer or qualified personnel to carry out installation work.)

Open the panel,uncover the clasp and remove the two screw

tilt the blade ,grab the corner and remove the bottom cover
-
unplug the waterpipe and terminals
-
open the bottom “A” clasp to this angle and then uncover the “B” clasp to take out cross fan and motor
Cautions
WARNING
Please call Sales/Service Shop for the Installation.
Do not attempt to install the air conditioner by yourself because improper
works may cause electric shock, fire, water leakage.
Trouble shooting
Before asking for service, check the following first.

Normal Performance inspection| The system does not restart immediately.
| • When unit is stopped, it won’t restart immediately until 3 minutes have
elapsed to protect the system.
• When the electric plug is pulled out and reinserted, the protection circuit
will work for 3 minutes to protect the air conditioner.
Noise is heard
| • During unit operation or at stop, a swishing or gurgling noise may
be heard.At first 2-3 minutes after unit start, this noise is more noticeable.
(This noise is generated by refrigerant flowing in the system.)
• During unit operation, a cracking noise may be heard.This noise is generated
by the casing expanding or shrinking because of temperature changes.
• Should there be a big noise from air flow in unit operation, air filter may
be too dirty.
Smells are generated.| • This is because the system
circulates smells from the interior air such as the smell of furniture, paint,
cigarettes.
Mist or steam are blown out.
| • During COOL or DRY operation, indoor unit may blow out mist.
This is due to the sudden cooling of indoor air.
In dry mode,fan speed can’t be changed.| •In DRY mode, when room temperature
becomes lower than temp.
setting+2 °C,unit will run intermittently at LOW speed regardless of FAN
setting.
