Setting Up Your H200 PRO– Initial Configuration Instructions
Upon first use or after a factory reset, please complete the following settings as prompted

  1. Language Selection: Press the ‘ ‘ button to navigate and choose the language you prefer. After making your selection, confirm it by hitting the ‘OK’ button.

Setting Up Your H200 PRO — Comprehensive Function Configuration Guide

  • Accessing the Settings Menu: When in recording mode, press the ‘M’ button to open the settings menu. Use the or buttons to navigate select the settings you wish to modify, and press the ‘OK’ button to apply the changes.

  1. Storage

    • This feature enables you to check the remaining storage space on your memory card and also offers an option to format the memory card.
    • Press the ‘OK’ button to view the remaining storage, and press the ‘OK’ button once more if you wish to format the memory card
  2. Formatting Reminder (Default: off, it is recommended to turn on the 30DAY reminder)

    • Memory Card Format Reminder Feature: Press the ‘OK’ button to switch the 30-day reminder on or off.
    • Once the 30-day reminder feature is activated, your device will emit a ‘DIDI-DIDI sound every 30 days to remind you to format the memory card. This audio alert will cycle three times before it automatically ceases.
    • Please note that this feature is strictly a reminder and will not automatically format your memory card! For optimal card performance, we advise formatting your memory card every 30 days.
  3. Language

    • The H200PRO supports eight languages, however, in this specific menu, only three common languages are available for selection.
    • If the language you require isn’t among these three options, you can reset the device.
    • This will allow you to select your desired language during the initial setup.

  5. In this menu, you have the option to either enable the GPS automatic time update feature or manually set the date and time. If you choose to enable the GPS automatic time update, the date and time will adjust itself automatically, eliminating the need for manual adjustments.

  6. Automaticaly update the time by GPS: (Default: ON) Press the ‘OK’ button to switch it off.

  7. Set Date and Time: Set the date and time individually.

  8. 24-hour: (Default: 12-hour format) Press the ‘OK’ button to switch to the 24-hour format.

  9. Time Zone Setting: (Default: GMT+00:00). Press the ‘OK’ button to enter settings, select the correct time zone for your location, and press the ‘OK’ button again to confirm.

  11. WIFI (Default: OFF)

  12. The WIFI function is mainly used in conjunction with the app on mobile devices. H200PRO supports two WIFI transmission modes, 2.4G and 5.8G. You can choose the appropriate transmission mode based on the WIFImode supported by your own mobile device

  13. Additionally, you can quickly enable WIFI by pressing and holding the ‘M’ button for 5 seconds while in recording mode. Press and hold the ‘M’ button again for 5 seconds to quickly disable WIFI.

  14. Elf your phone disconnects from the WIFI, the device will automatically turn off the WIFI after 5 minutes.

  15. *Resolution (Default: 25601440P@60FPS)**

    • Front camera offers two sets of video recording resolution options: “1440P 60FPS” means the front camera resolution is 25601440 60FPS + rear camera 1080P “2160P 30FPS” means the front camera resolution is 32802160 30FPS + rear camera 1080P
    • It is recommended to use the 1440P 60FPS mode for recording; during high-speed driving and at night, 60FPS can display richer details.
    • After selecting the desired resolution, you must press the OK button for it to take effect.
  16. Loop Recording (Default: 1 Minutes)

    • The loop recording feature allows your dashcam to record video continuously.
    • When the storage capacity becomes full, the dashcam will automatically replace the oldest video clips with new recordings, eliminating the need for manual deletion and concerns about running out of storage space.
    • The H200PRO offers three options for loop recording durations: 1 minute, 3 minutes, and 5 minutes. We recommend setting it to 1 minute for ease of locating specific video clips during playback.
  17. SoundRecord (Default: Open)

    • The audio recording feature is designed to capture sounds throughout your travels.

  18. Exposure (Default: +0.0)

    • The exposure adjustment feature is particularly useful in scenarios where ambient lighting is inadequate, such as during extensive nighttime driving or in low-light conditions.
    • By appropriately increasing the exposure, you can enhance image quality.
    • Both excessively high or low exposure can affect the quality of video recording.
  19. Frequency

    • Adjusting the light source frequency correctly can help mitigate potential flickering issues in your video footage.
    • For regions where the voltage is between 100V~130V, please select a light source frequency of 60HZ; Li For regions where the voltage is between 220V~240V, please select a light source frequency of 50HZ.
  20. G-Sensor (Default: Low)

    • This setting primarily adjusts the sensitivity of the G-Sensor.
    • The G-Sensor is designed to send a signal in the event of sudden braking or a collision while the vehicle is moving, which in turn triggers the camera’s automatic video lock feature.
    • We recommend setting the sensitivity to either low or medium. If the sensitivity is set too high, this may result in a significant increase in the number of locked recordings.
  21. Parking Monitoring

    • To utilize the parking monitoring feature, it is necessary to install the parking monitoring cable!
    • Once the parking monitoring function is activated, the device will automatically create a new video folder specifically for parking monitoring.
    • The parking monitor has two working modes, but you can only choose one of them to use!
    • (MODE 1) Collision Recording: Once the vehicle is switched off, if the device senses any impact or shaking of the vehicle, it will automatically record a locked video of 20 seconds in length. These records can be accessed in the locked video folder.
    • (MODE 2)Timelapse Recording: When the vehicle is powered down, the device will automatically initiate recording based on the predefined interval and recording duration. The recorded videos are saved in the designated parking monitor video folder.

    1. Set Parking Mode to ON.
    2. Enter the ‘Monitoring sensitivity ‘option, use ‘ ” ‘ to select sensitivity parameters (Medium is recommended), and confirm by pressing the’OK’ button.
    3. Enter the ‘Time Lapse’ option, set it to Off and confirm by pressing the ‘OK’ button. At this point, the collision recording mode is set up successtully.

    1. Set Parking Mode to ON.
    2. Enter the ‘Time Lapse’ option, use ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘ to select the time-lapse recording frame rate, and confirm by pressing the ‘OK’ button.
    3. Enter the Time-Lapse Recording Time option, use ‘ ” ‘ T to select the time-lapse recording duration, and confirm by pressing the ‘OK’ button. At this point, the time-lapse recording is set up and the collision recording function is automatically turned off.
    • Upon restarting the vehicle, the camera will automatically revert to its standard recording function. It will also remember the settings for time-lapse recording, eliminating the need for you to set it up again.
    • When the time-lapse recording duration is set to ‘Off’, the recorder will continue to capture footage non- stop. For optimal performance, we recommend setting the duration to 12 hours!
    • The monitoring duration of both modes is dependent on the vehicle’s battery level. If the battery level falls below 11.6V or 23.5V, the monitoring function will automatically cease.

  22. Display Mode (Default: Driving Mode)

    • This setting primarily controls the screen display content of the dashcam while in use. Regardless of the screen display status, it will not interfere with the standard recording function of the dashcam.
    1. Driving Mode: If no actions are taken within a 10-second timeframe, the device will automatically switch to driving mode. You can exit driving mode simply by pressing any button.
    2. Always On The recording screen will be displayed.
    3. Auto LCD Off: If there are no other operations within 10 seconds, the screen will automatically turn off. You can restore the screen display by pressing any button.
  23. Volume (Default: Medium)

    • This setting is primarily used to adjust the volume of button sounds and video playback.
    • It offers four options: ‘Off’, ‘Low’, ‘Medium’, and ‘High’. Select the one that best suits your needs.
  24. GPS Information

    • This feature enables you to monitor the status of satellite reception signals. Green: Represents a good reception of the GPS signal;
    • Red: Suggests weak GPS signal reception or failure to receive a signal. If the number of green is less than three, the GPS will not operate normally.
  25. Speed Unit

    • Choose the speed unit that suits your preference: Km/h or mph.
  26. Rear Mirror (Default: ON)

    • Enable or disable the function to flip the rear camera image left and right.
  27. Rear Flip180° (Default: OFF)

    • Enable or disable the function to flip the rear camera image horizontally.

  28. Reset

    • This feature is designed to revert the device to its original factory settings.
    • Please refrain from disconnecting the power during the reset process, as it could potentially damage the device and may result in failure to boot.
    • Once the device has been reset to factory settings, all functions will need to be configured anew.

  31. Firmware Update

    1. Before downloading the firmware, please make sure it matches the latest firmware for your device model. Ensure the firmware version you downloaded is newer than the current version on your device.

    2. Copy the downloaded firmware to a compatible and already formatted memory card, making sure the filename matches the filename required by the device.

    3. Insert the memory card into the dashcam (make sure the device is turned off)

    4. Turn on the dashcam and proceed with the firmware update. Typically, the device will automatically detect the new firmware and start updating upon startup. Do not turn off the device or disconnect the power during the update.

    5. After the update is complete, the device will automatically restart. Please check the device firmware version again to confirm that the update has been completed

    7. Accessing the Video Selection Menu: While in recording mode, pressing the ‘ ‘ button will bring you to the video selection menu.

    8. Use the ‘ ” ‘ buttons to select the video folder you wish to view (‘ ‘Looping Video/’ ‘Locked Video). After making your choice, press the ‘OK ‘ button to confirm and proceed to the Front/Rear Camera options. use the ‘ ” ‘ buttons again to choose between front or rear camera views. press the ‘OK’ button to access the list of video files.

    9. Within the Playback list, navigate to your desired video using the ‘ ‘ and ‘ ‘ buttons. Once you’ve highlighted the video you wish to view, press the “OK” button to commence playback.

    10. During video playback, you can pause the video at any time by simply pressing the ‘OK button. For seamless viewing, use the ‘ ” ‘  buttons to quickly skip to the previous or next video file, without the need to return to the video list.

    11. While watching a video, you can secure the currently playing video by pressing the’ ‘ button. This will prevent the video from being overwritten or deleted.

    12. Within the Playback list, use the ‘ ‘ ‘ buttons to navigate to the video you wish to delete. Once the desired video is selected, press the button to remove the video file.
