Operation and Modes

Normal Operation
Rear light (Normal mode), Brakes or Emergency Brake, operates differently than previous brake rear lights, no cable connection to the brake is required. Brakes
Upon detection of braking by the integrated sensors, the rear light illuminates very brightly and clearly to signal slowing down to following traffic. Emergency Braking
In the event of an abrupt stop, the rear light activates the pulsating emergency brake light function.

Important Notes

  • Do not expose the light to extreme conditions such as driving at high speeds or off-road.
  • Ensure the light is correctly mounted and not covered or hidden.
  • Do not open the rear light as it will void the warranty.
  • If the light is mounted upside down, it will not function correctly.
  • Keep the rear light clean and dry during transportation in the rain or when washing the bike.

Product Usage Instructions

Normal Operation:
During normal operation, the lighting system provides illumination based on the battery level indicated by the LEDs.

Braking:
When braking, the system activates the brake lights to signal slowing down or stopping.

Emergency Braking:
In emergency braking situations, the emergency brake lights are automatically activated to alert others on the road.

Battery Status:
The blue LEDs indicate battery levels as follows:

  • 5 blue LEDs: 100 – 80%
  • 4 blue LEDs: 80 – 60%
  • 3 blue LEDs: 60 – 40%
  • 2 blue LEDs: 40 – 20%
  • 1 blue LED: 20 – 10%
  • 1 blue & 1 orange LED: 10 – 5%
  • 1 orange LED: < 5%

If the orange LED lights up along with the blue LED, the battery is below 10%, and brake functions are disabled. Please recharge the battery immediately.

Lighting Modes:
The system offers different lighting modes based on battery levels and sensor settings.

FAQ

What does the Senso Permanent feature do?

The Senso Permanent feature automatically adjusts the lighting based on brightness and motion detection. It may also provide a reduced brightness mode until the battery is depleted.

How can I charge the battery?

Use the USB-C charging port located on top under the protective cap with a standard USB power source.

What does it mean if the orange LED is lit?

The orange LED indicates that the battery level is below 10%, and it is recommended to charge the battery immediately.

How do I know the light is fully charged?

During the charging process, the battery capacity indicator shows the current level. Once fully charged, all LEDs will turn off.

Can I mount the light on any part of the bike?

The light should only be mounted on the seatpost. Do not mount on the fork or rear stay to avoid accidents.
