Principles of Air Purification

HEPA filter can effectively filter most airborne particulate pollutants larger than 0.3um in diameter, such as PM2.5, dust particles, pet dander, pollen, cigarette smoke and odor, etc., so as to achieve the purpose of air purification.

Use your air purifier

Note: The power adapter is at the bottom of the air purifier, Make sure to remove the protective bag before first use. YIOU air purifier M1 adopts double-sided air intakes. Appropriate clearance should be maintained when placed against a wall.

1. Connect the power adapter to the side port of the air purifier and connect the socket. When the air purifier beeps and the power button flashes, the air purifier is ready
2. Tap to turn on the purifier.

How to operate the unit

1. Tap to change wind speed to low, medium or high circularly.

2. Under sleep mode, the air purifier will work at the quietest wind speed and minimized light. When the screen is activated again, it wil exit sleep mode.

3. Automatically adjust the wind speed according to the detected air quality

5. Press and hold for three seconds to lock/unlock the air purifier

6. In me power-on state, the filter timing starts to consume, and the initial time is 2000 hours. Touch to display the filter life percentage on the screen in real time, and the initial value is F99. When F00 is used, the screen displays the filter life from constant on to flashing and the filter key light also flashes

7. When the percentage reaches F00, flashes, after replacing the filter, press and hold this key for 5 seconds until you hear three beeps, the screen displays F99, the filter life changes from flashing to steady light, stops flashing, Reset completed (Users can replace the filter in advance according to the usage environment and reset the filter in this way)

Attention

1. **** Non-professional maintenance personnel are prohibited from dismantling and refitting the air purifier.
2. Prohibit the use of power beyond the specification.
3. Do not get the air purifier wet
4. Do not wipe the air purifier with alcohol or organic solvent.
5. Avoid starting machines around heavy smoke and soot
6. Do not spray insecticides in or on the unit.
7. Do not run the unit if the power cord is damaged.
8. It is forbidden to use different types of power adapters
9. Tip: Don’t block the PM2.5 sensor

Gwea Please pay attention to ventilation when using the air purifier and gas appliances at the same time.

1. Close doors and windows to effectively and quickly purify indoor air.
2. Inspect the power plug regularly for any damage.

NOTE If any of the following happens, unplug the power immediately.
—The function key doesn’t work
—Short circuit.
—The power cord or plug becomes abnormally hot.
—There is a burning smell or unusual sound and vibration.
—Other abnormal phenomena or malfunctions.

Troubleshooting

No Power
— Check power cord plug is completely plugged into the unit
— Ensure the wall outlet has power.
No wind coming from the unit
— Ensure the unit has power and try increasing the fan speed
— Make sure nothing is blocking the air intake
— Ensure nothing has fallen into the unit from the top panel to prevent the fan from being stuck
Indoor odor is difficult to be removed
— The effectiveness of the filter may have been run out. Please replace the filter.
If the air purifier still doesn’t work, please unplug the unit and contact our support team.

Maintenance

The unit needs regular maintenance to ensure that the air purifier is at optimal performance. Regularly wipe the air inlet and outlet with a soft, damp cloth. Allow unit to dry completely before turning back on.
Instructions of cleaning filter:

1. Turn off the unit and unplug the power cord.
2. 0pen the filter cover and remove the filter.
3. use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to clean the filter.
4. Tip: you can place the filter in direct sunlight for 1-3 hours

Do not allow the filter to get wet.
Note: Above actions only help to maintain filters’ performance.
Reset Filter Indicator:
When the filter needs to be replaced, the filter indicator light wil flash to remind you.

1. Tur off the device and unplug the power cord from the left side of the device
2. Open the purifier cover from the notches on both sides and remove the filet.
3. Install the new filter (remove the protective plastic bag) and reset the cover.
4. Press and hold the filter button for 5 seconds until you hear 3 beeps to complete the reset of the filter indicator

Tip: PM2.5 sensor (don’t block the sensor)
