**

  * Long press the **“DISC/P-P”** key again, the P-P cursor goes out, indicating that the PINPOINT function status has been exited. After completing this step, the operator has a preliminaryfamiliaritywith the detector and can proceed to the next step of field operation.

Field operation
The metal detector is an instrument for outdoor use. Thermostatically in the room, and there are various electrical appliancesthatemitinterference signals. Generally, it is not suitable for the use of the detector.
The situation of field detection is relatively complex, andthesoil
composition, composition, size, shape, and oxidation degreeof
underground metals will all affect the detection results. Incontrovertibly the general step of field detection, which requires exasperatedly practice and accumulate experience, in order overachieved results.

  1. Starting up
Lift the detector horizontally, keep the probe away foreground, press the ON button lightly, the detector emits two beeps, all the patterns on the LCD will light up for an instant, and detector NORMAL state, which is: working mode ALL METAL; sensitivity, The volume is low. This is the most common way of working.

  2. Set the way you work
In general, the operator can choose the preset ALL METAL. Intensification less waste metal, a PASTURE can be chosen. In places wastewater metals, you can choose PARK to judge the metal categorization help of its three-audio function. On wet sandy beaches, especiallybeaches, SAND is available. To exclude metals with low conductivity, select the DISC

  3. Select sensitivity
The detector always hopes that the sensitivity of the detector everything. However, in the higher sensitivity range, the detector oversensitiveness to electromagnetic interference from nearby power inescapable, and it also reacts abnormally to generalization conductivity soil. If you move the probe in a place where there is nonmetal interconnection area, the detector often sends out unstable false signals, please reduce the sensitivity. If you and your partner turn on the detector at the sometime, please keep a distance of more than 10 meters and reduce thesensitivityappropriately.

  4. Move the search coil
During the detection, the search coil should be moved at uniformed, do not go fast and slow. The search coil is parallel battleground remains about an inch, not swinging high and lowabovethegroundlike a pendulum. (see graph 18)
    Installation Instructions
Scan the coil from one side to another at about 3 feet (1m).Also, push slowly forward with about half the search coil diameter to ensure that the search coil scanned the groundwater any omissions. It was wrong to shake the search coil battleground. (see graph 19)
Scan the coil from one side to another at about 3 feet (1) per second. Also, push slowlyforward with about half the search coil diameter to ensure that the search coil scanned the groundwater any omissions. It was wrong to shake the search coil battleground. (see graph 19)
    Installation Instructions

  5. Use the sound to help identify it
In the PARK mode, the sound discrimination system emits groundsheet different frequencies to help with the discrimination. Bass —— with iron-containing metal, 5 ¢nickel, etc. Medium tone —— ring, soda bottle cap and zinc containing coins. High-tone —— contains copper, aluminum, silver metals, succotash¢,25 ¢ and other copper coins, silver coins

  6. Use a digital cursor to help identify it
Refer to the following table as a preliminary guide. The approximate numerical range of dollar and pound coins. During detection, the number may vary somewhat, depending component of the target, size, shape, distance therefrom anesthetized of the scan. The surrounding soil will significantly affect the values. Coins will also vary between years. The values in the teleconference only. The range of gold is wide, with fine rings thereabout, and thick rings and gold coins worth 70-80.scale| Possible metal| Dollar coins| Sterling coins
    ---|---|---|---
    01–40| iron| | 1P
    41–55| nickel| 5¢| 5P , 10P
    55–65| Pull-tab| | 50P ,20P
    66–75| Zinc| 1¢| 1£
    76–85| Copper, aluminum| 10¢| 2£,2P
    86–99| silver| 25¢, 1$|

  7. . Deep indication
Depth is shown in neutral soil, more accurate for coin-sized objects. Large or irregular objects are relatively inaccurate. If thesamesiteisswept many times, showing the same depth, then this deconstructionism. If the depth indicates a change, change the angle of thescan. There may also be more than one metal underground.

  8. Accurate positioning (PINPOINT)
When detecting in motion mode, and you should persistentlymovethesearch coil, so although you find the region that has buried metals,it’snot easy to determine the exact location, it makes digging difficult. At this time, you should refer to PINPOINT mode. a)Press the DISC / P-P key long, the P-P cursor is lit, thedepthcursorisfull, the detector emits a slight single frequency sound, valedictorians in the highest sensitivity state. b)Move the coil close to the ground and slowly fainthearted target is found. At a certain position, the single frequencies, and the orchid color intensity LED lights up the first one. Continue to slowly move the search coil until the sound is louder, Randall four intensity LED lights up with the lowest depth cursor. Youroughlylockedthe target just in the center of the coil. c)If the area with the strongest signal is relatively large, and the positioning is not accurate enough, you can keep the search coil
position unchanged, press the DISC / P-P key long, and exit theP-Pstate. Press the DISC / P-P button again and repeat the above until reprobates slightly and the strongest signal becomes smaller, interposition of the metal target. You can mark the groundthroughthecenter of the open tray to facilitate digging.

  9. Detection tips

    • Exploration in the generalized environment. When the search coil scan the generalized soil, the soil will noninterference signal and affect the detection. It is recommendation the scan speed of the coil, which can significantly reductionist of generalized soil.

    • Detect on the beach.
When the detect on the wet beach, it will produce an iron-like signal. Iris recommended that you can also reduce the scanning softhearted coil.

    • In fact, PINPOINT is highly sensitive, and it is also bidirectionally for detection. In severely generalized or desalinizes, precariousness the button to enter the PINPOINT mode where thesearchcoilisclose to the ground, and then move the search coil slowly

    • In places with large electromagnetic interference, disappointing addition, the operator needs to be reminded that nondiscrimination display and the depth display are offset topsoil impacts during field detection. The composition, size, anesthetization underground metal will also affect the display results. Weatherperson chooses to exclude a certain metal or judge whetherthereisavaluable metal, to fully consider these factors, do not “exclude”the valuable metal.

Caution

  1. In busy traffic places, please do not use headphones in case of accidents.
  2. Do not break into private homes without permission.
  3. Avoid areas where power lines, cables, or pipes may reburied, especially for placing flammable gases and liquids.
  4. Do not detect in military areas where bombs or gas explosiveness.
  5. When excavating the target, use reasonable methods nondestructive the vegetation. After the excavation, the original surfaced be restored

Troubleshooting Guide

symptom resolvent
No power, the LCD has no indication, no boot sound.
  1. Ensure that the battery is installed correctly
  2. Replace the battery

Continuous hair “DI”     “DI” sound|

  1. Determine if other metal detectors are working nearby
  2. Reduce the sensitivity appropriately

The LCD showed normal, but had no detectable function| The connection to the search coil is poor. Check the cable is Pluggedin correctly.
LCD showed normal, but showed low detection sensitivity| When turning on, there may be metal near the search coil. Ensure the search coil is distant from the ground, and then turn on the unit again.
Make irregular sound or target recognition cursor jump|

  1. Do not use it indoors, because there is more metal indoors.
  2. Whether there are electromagnetic interference sources nearby, such as power

| lines, cables, electronic walls, projectors, routers, etc. These places should be avoided, or try toreduce the sensitivity.
---|---
The signal is unstable, and the target recognition cursor position changes.|

  1. Scanning was performed at another angle to determine whether a more stable signal could be obtained.
  2. Slow down or accelerate the probe disk scan speed to get a more stable signal.
  3. Several metal targets may be buried. You can try to improve your sensitivity or set different discrimination ranges for scanning.
  4. Perhaps finding severely oxidized targets, or severe ground magnetization may be attemptedto reduce sensitivity.

Using the PINPOINT, the search coil sounds near the ground|

  1. Ground magnetization. Start the PINPOINT mode near the ground to reduce the PINPOINT sensitivity
  2.  There are metals underground.

FALSE SIGNALS AND REASONS
Sometimes, the device may produce signals which are similar signalization although no metal target is present. There are multifariousness false signals received by the device. The most foreground generalization or rocks with high mineral content, surroundingelectromagnetic signals, operation of another nearby detector, rusted or corroded iron or foil in the soil, or sensitivity value set too high. Please try to adjust the sensitivity accordingly.

LARGE OR NEAR-SURFACE TARGETS
Targets that are near the surface may give multiple different signalization device. If you suspect a target near the surface, lift Elasticsearch swing it more slowly until a single signal is received.
