How to receive your Flipper Zero in Israel

Are you located in Israel and receiving a shipment containing Flipper Zero?
This guide will show how to acquire an individual import permit for your devices, which Israeli laws require.

Prerequisites

Make sure the following requirements are satisfied before following the guide.

• You must have a tracking number for your shipment
• The shipment has to arrive at the customs office before you file a request
• You must have an invoice PDF file for your order. The invoice has to mention the FZ.1 (FLP-Z-W-R04) model name.

Steps to Success

1. Leave everything as it is at this step and click the dark blue button. It means you are a “Private importer”, you need an “Authorization for one-time import”, and you need it for “Personal use”
2. Enter your personal information and tick the radio buttons shown in the screenshot. Click the dark blue button.
3. For the first field, you will need to check your invoice value.
   • If your invoice value is between $0-$75, use the 98020000000/0 code
   • $75-500 — 9803300000/5
   • $500-$1000 — 9804990000/8
   • Use this for the item description field: “Portable handheld electronic device with an operating system reminiscent of a computer game featuring virtual pet, designed for education (learning engineering, science, programming, and electronics engineering) through recreational activities, as well as electronics and software prototyping and development”.
   • Specify the number of devices in your shipment. Fill in the rest of the form just like on the screenshot. Click the dark blue button.
4. Attach the datasheet and the invoice you prepared, and fill out the form as shown in the screenshot. Click the dark blue button.
5. At this step, do not tick any checkboxes, and leave the form empty. Click the dark blue button.
6. In the final step, you have to tick all three checkboxes to confirm that:
   • You confirm that you provided accurate information and that you are aware of Israeli communication laws
   • You confirm that you are not going to trade with the Palestinian Authority
   • You confirm that you are not going to use the device against the Israeli security forces.
7. Click the dark blue button to finalize your request. You will receive a confirmation email.
8. After the request is approved, your parcel will be released and delivered.
