Dear Customer,
Thank you for choosing our product. Please read the operating instructions
carefully before assembling or using the product in order to avoid damage due
to improper use. If you pass this product on to third parties, these operating
instructions must also be handed over.
PURPOSE OF USE
Use the unit only for its intended purpose and within the parameters specified
in this manual.
This electrical appliance / machine is intended for domestic use only. Do not
use it /them outdoors or on wet surfaces.
This electrical appliance/machine must not be operated by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.
GENERAL PRECAUTIONS
This product must not be used as a toy. Children should be supervised. Make
sure that children do not play with the electrical appliance / machine.
If the electrical appliance/machine does not work properly, has been dropped
or damaged, left outdoors or immersed in liquid, do not use it. In this case,
contact the Kesser customer service.
Do not use the electrical appliance/machine if parts appear faulty, if parts
are missing or damaged.
Before use, make sure that all parts are properly fastened.
Risk of injury
Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators,
cookers and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if
your body is earthed.
Prevent the unit from starting accidentally. Make sure the lever is in the OFF
position before plugging in and/or inserting the battery before picking up or
carrying the unit.
Carrying electrical appliances with your finger on the power button or
plugging in electrical appliances that are not switched off can cause serious
injury.
Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, e.g. near flammable
liquids, gases or dust. Power tools produce sparks that can ignite dust or
gases.
Always wear eye protection. Any electrical appliance can throw foreign objects
into your eyes and cause permanent damage to the eye. Always wear safety
glasses.
The normal glasses only have impact resistant lenses.
Do not place electrical tools in the rain, do not expose them to wet weather
conditions. Water entering a power tool increases the risk of electric shocks.
Stay alert, pay attention to what you are doing and use your brain when using
an electrical appliance / machine. Do not use a power tool / machine when
tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment or
carelessness while working with a power tool / machine can result in serious
injury.
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective
equipment such as a dust mask, non-slip safety shoes helmet or hearing
protection reduce the risk of injury.
Prevent accidental starting of the unit. Make sure the lever is in the off
position before plugging in and/or inserting the battery, before picking up or
carrying the unit.

button or if you plug in electrical appliances/machines that are not switched
off, you can seriously injure yourself.
Remove all spanners before switching on the electrical appliance/machine. A
spanner stuck on the rotating part of an electrical appliance of the machine
can cause injury.
Do not overestimate yourself. Always make sure you have proper footing and
balance. This will help you to control the power tool/machine in unexpected
situations.
Wear appropriate clothing. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery.
Keep hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. loose clothing,
jewellery or long hair can be caught by moving parts.
If equipment has a connection to the dust extractor and collection containers,
make sure that they are properly connected and used correctly. The use of
equipment for dust collection can reduce hazards caused by dust.
SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Make sure your work environment is clean and well lit. Untidy or dark areas
invite accidents.

SCARIFIER & AERATOR
Before starting the machine, please make sure that the tines do not touch
anything and can move freely.
Grip the push bar firmly with both hands. Never operate the appliance with
only one hand.
Do not overexert yourself. Always make sure you have a good grip and a good
stance.
Do not use the machine on a slope that is too steep for safe use. Slow down on
slopes and make sure you have a good footing.
Do not use an electrical appliance when you are tired or under the influence
of drugs, alcohol or medication. Make sure that children and bystanders are at
a sufficient distance when using an electrical appliance. Distractions can
cause accidents or injuries.
Never walk or run with the unit. Do not use the device for a long period of
time. Use the device in short periods of time with breaks in between. The
device produces a high vibration that can cause you to lose your sense of
touch, feel numbness or tingling, and have a reduced ability to grasp.
Prolonged exposure can lead to a chronic condition. If possible, limit the
time you are exposed to this vibration and use anti-vibration gloves.
CAUTION
The unit may jump up and/or bounce forward if the tines are used in extremely
dense soil, frozen ground or if it hits buried objects such as large stones,
roots or tree stumps. If the unit hits a foreign object, switch it off
immediately and look for the cause. Repair the unit before starting it again.
WARNING
Do not use the unit near electrical cables, telephone cables, pipes or hoses
that are underground.
When charging accessories, make sure that the unit is not connected to the
mains supply.
