General Power Tool Safety Warnings
WARNING
Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and
instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded)
power tool or battery-operated(cordless) power tool.
Work area safety
- Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
- Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
- Keep children and by standers away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
Electrical safety
- Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce the risk of electric shock.
- Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
- Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
- Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil,sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
- When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
- If operating a power tool in a damp location unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD) protected supply. The use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
Personal safety
- Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.
- Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
- Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energizing power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
- Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.
- Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
- Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
Power tool use and care
- Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application.The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
- Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
- Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments,changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
- Store the power tools out of the reach of children. Do not allow persons unfarmiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
- Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired betore use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
- Keep cutting chain sharp and clean. Properly maintained chains with sharp cutting teeth are less likely to blunt and are easier to control.
- Use the power tool, and accessories in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
Battery tool use and care
- Do not open the battery due to danger of short-circuiting.
- Protect the battery from heat, such as continuous strong sunlight, fire, water and humidity. There is danger of explosion.
- Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
- When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
- Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery, please avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, please additionally seek medical help for the liquid may cause irritation or burns.
CAUTION: RISK OF EXPLOSION!
- Never charge non-rechargeable batteries!
- Protect the rechargeable battery from heat, for example from continuous exposure to sunlight, fire, water, and moisture.
- There is a risk of explosion.
Safety Warnings for Charger
- Do not allow any liquid to come into contact with the charger. There is a danger of electric shock.
- Do not place tools or chargers near water. For example, near the sink, washbasin, or toilet.
- Do not spill liquid of any kind on the tool or charger. Doing so may short out parts, causing damage to the product and creating the risk of fire or electric shock.
- The most suitable temperatures to charge the battery pack are between 20 C -25 C. During charging, batteries must be placed in a well-ventilated area!
- The tool is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervisory instruction.
- Children should not be allowed to to play with the tool.
- Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries!

Assembly
Warning
- Only insert the rechargeable battery once the device is completely assembled.

Replacing & installing the chain
Taking the installation of DL-08 as an example, the installation methods of other models are the same:
- Loosen compression nut and remove guide plate and chains
- Put the chain into the guide plate
- Install the bar and chain
- Please pay attention to the direction of the cutting tooth.
- Adjust the tension knob to move the pin on the cover to a suitale position
- Adjust the pin counter clock wise or clockwise to align the pin with the guide plate bar hole
- ( Note: The pin must be installed in the guide plate hole, otherwise, the chain tension cannot be adjusted)
- Adjust the tension knob to tighten the chain
- Rotate the compression nut clockwise to fix the guide plate.
- Note: The nut cannot befully tightened in this step, A slightly loose space is required to adjust the chain.
Adjusting tightness of the chain
- The new chain will be stretched in the early stage of use. Please check and adjust to the appropriate tension frequently, because the loose chain is easy to derail, which may lead to rapid wear of the chain and guide plate.
- As shown in the picture, twisted the adjusting screw clockwise to tension the chain, counterclockwise is for loosening.
Note
- Loosen the nut before adjusting the chain, a bit slightly loose space is required to adjust the chain.
- If the chain cannot be adjusted, please check whether the chain has fallen off. If it falls off, follow the first step to reinstall it.
- Insert the battery into the base of the machine as shown in the picture. Push the battery further forward until it clicks into place.
- ( Battery: Pay attention to align the slots and inserts.)
- Push the battery unlock button.
- Pull the battery out of the Chainsaw.

Warning
- Ensure that the exterior of the battery is clean and dry before connecting to the charger or machine.
Precautions of battery charging
- Do not expose the battery to extreme conditions such as high temperature or shock. Otherwise, it will cause personal injury due to the leakage of the electrolytic solution.
- Before charging, check that the surface of the battery is clean and dry.
- Before using for the first time, the battery needs to be fully charged.
- After the battery is fully charged, remove the charger plug from the outlet.
- When the machine is not being used over a longer period of time it is best to store the battery in charged condition.
- The battery is used to ensure that it is recharged at least over charging every 3 months.
- The battery has overheat protection and over charging protection, which may be triggered during frequent use or overuse.
- The chainsaw will not start when the overheat protection is triggered. Keep the battery in shade for 30-60 minutes before using it again.
- When the charging protection is triggered, the battery will not be able to charge, and the green light will continue to show after the charger is inserted into the battery. Please keep the battery in shade for 30-60 minutes before charging.
Cutting Skills
ln order to make you have a better use experience, we recommend :
- Do not press the chain saw hard in use.
- Please add chain & bar oil to the chainsaw before each use, and the optimal frequency for oiling a chainsaw is after every10 -15 cuts.
- You can choose universal chain & bar oil.
- Try to avoid tree branches.
- When the device is running, keep your other hand at least 15cm away from the cutting area of the blade, and the hand must not be put into the chain edge.
- To protect the battery pack in cold or wet weather, place it under waterproof covering.
- Be sure to unplug the battery pack after the cutting is completed.
- Do not use this equipment on rainy days.
- Do not use any solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, ammonia, etc. Chemicals such as these will damage the synthetic components.

It is warranted to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for the period of one year from the date of original purchase, return the COMPLETE tool to YHYXPO Service Centers. lf inspection shows the trouble is caused by defective workmanship or material, YHYXPO will repair (or at our option, replace) without charge.
This warranty does not apply where:
- repairs have been made or attempted by others.
- the tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained.
- alterations have been made to the tool.
