ASSEMBLY

The ELECTRIC SHAVE ICE MAKER has a sharp stainless steel blade that can cut and cause injury. Use EXTREME CAUTION when handling the appliance. Keep fingers clear from blade and avoid contact at all times when using and cleaning.

Wipe down the ice shaver with a damp, non-abrasive cloth. Dry thoroughly.

Clean the Shaver Bowl and Base with a soft cloth in warm water mixed with a mild detergent. Dry with a non-abrasive towel.

  • Attach Cone Holder to Base by aligning notches on the Cone Holder with holes on the Base. Press down on back of Cone Holder to secure.
  • Place the Shaver Bowl on top of the Base. Be sure to align arrow and notch on Shaver Bowl with front of Base.
  • With the power cord facing towards the back of the unit, place Motor Cabinet into Shaver Bowl.
Now you are ready to enjoy cool, refreshing icy drinks from your ELECTRIC SHAVE ICE MAKER!

HOW TO OPERATE

  1. Fill a standard ice cube tray or the included ice mold with water and place in freezer until frozen. Remove ice from tray(s) or mold (s).

  2. Place the ELECTRIC SHAVE ICE MAKER on a stable, waterproof surface near an electrical outlet before starting.

  3. Always make sure that the cord is away from a water source.

  4. With Shaver Bowl placed on top of Base, place frozen ice cubes or ice from mold into Shaver Bowl. DO NOT FILL PAST MAX FILL LINE (holds approximately 8 medium-sized ice cubes). BE CAREFUL when placing ice cubes in Shaver Bowl as the blade in the Shaver Bowl is very sharp.
    How to Operate

  5. Place a cone under the Shaver Bowl to catch the shaved ice.

  6. Place the Motor Cabinet on top of the Shaver Bowl and hold in place. When filled with ice, the Motor Cabinet will rest a few inches above the bottom of the Shaver Bowl.

  7. Plug unit into an electrical outlet. To begin shaving, hold the Motor Cabinet steady with one hand and press down on the Power Button.
NOTE: For your safety this unit is equipped with a built-in safety switch. Ice must be in the Shaver Bowl for the unit to work. When the ice level gets too low, the safety switch will engage and stop the motor.

  8. Hold the Power Button until majority of ice is shaved, or until the Motor Cabinet sits flush on the bottom of the Ice Bowl. To stop shaving ice, release pressure on the Power Button.

  9. Some ice may remain in the Shaver Bowl. Discard this ice before adding a new ice cube.

  10. Repeat the process until you have the desired amount of shaved ice.

  11. Carefully remove Snow Cone from Holder and add desired syrup or flavoring.

  12. After each 1 minute of continuous use, wait 10 minutes before using again to allow motor to cool.

  13. Unplug unit from outlet when finished.

HELPFUL TIPS

USING TRADITIONAL ICE CUBES

  • Place 8 medium-sized ice cubes in an even layer in Shaver Bowl to yield approximately 2 cups of shaved ice.
  • Do not overfill Shaver Bowl with ice (see max fill line in shaver bowl).

SAFETY SWITCH

  • For your safety this unit is equipped with a built-in safety switch. Ice must be in the Shaver Bowl for the unit to work. When the ice level gets too low, the safety switch will engage and stop the motor.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

The blades in the Shaver Bowl are very sharp. Use EXTREME CAUTION when handling the appliance during cleaning.

Make sure the unit is unplugged before cleaning. Do not put the Motor Cabinet in water or any other liquid.

Before first use and continuing after each use, be sure to wipe off the Motor Cabinet with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry thoroughly. Wash the Shaver Bowl and Base with a soft cloth in warm water mixed with a mild detergent. Dry with a soft cloth or air dry prior to storage.
