Breathing Exercise Device

Getting to know your device

  • Breathing Exercise device is a handheld positive expiratory pressure therapy device that uses airflow to mobilize and clear secretions. It is tubular with a plastic mouthpiece at one end which is attached to a front compartment, the front room can hold a small steel ball during use.
  • Breathing Exercise device does not require external energy supply and can be operated by the patient. It is designed to mimic the natural mucus clearance system of healthy human lungs. In the lungs of healthy people, the cilia on the walls of the bronchial tubes oscillate in unison and rhythmically.
  • The airflow blown out by a person using the device can interact with the small steel ball at the bottom, causing the chest cavity to feel the vibration, diluting the viscous secretions in the trachea, and transporting it to the laryngopharynx, and finally expelling the lungs through coughing or swallowing.
