Do not attempt to dismantle, modify, install or maintain the air conditioner.
Any such work must only be carried out by a suitably qualified person or
service centre.
Should any of the refrigerant leak or require discharging for installation,
maintenance or disassembly, please contact a suitably qualified person or
service centre.
Failure to follow the above advice may result in damage, personal injury or
death and may contravene local laws and regulations.
Operation Notices
The Refrigerant
For efficiency, a purified refrigerant circulates within the system known as
fluoride R290. The refrigerant is flammable, has no odour and can explode
under certain conditions. Compared to common refrigerants, R290 is non-
polluting, does not harm to the ozonosphere and has a reduced influence on the
greenhouse effect. R290 also has highly efficient thermodynamic properties,
therefore requires less frequent recharging.
WARNING:
- The appliance is filled with flammable gas R290.
- The appliance should be stored in a room without continuously operating sources of ignition. ( For example: open flames, an operating gas applianc or an operating electric heater.)
- The appliance should be stored in a well-ventilated area where the room size corresponds to the room area as specified for operation.
- The appliance should be stored so as to prevent mechanical damage from occurring.
- Ducts connected to the appliance shall not contain an ignition source.
- Keep any required ventilation openings clear of obstruction.
- Do not pierce, burn or incinerate the appliance.
- Be ware that refrigerants may not contain an odour.
- Do not use any means to accelerate the defrosting process or to clean the appliance other than as directed by the manufacturer.
- Servicing shall be performed only as recommended by the manufacturer.
- Should repair be necessary, contact your nearest authorised service centre
- Any repairs carried out by unqualified personnel may result in damages, injury or death.
- Compliance with national gas regulations shall be observed at all times.
- Always read and retain the instruction manual.
Safety Warning

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge provided they have been given supervision or instruction on using of the appliance in a safe way and that they understand the hazards involved.

Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning or maintenance shall not be carried out by children without supervision.

Before operation, please confirm the power supply source is of sufficient rating to power the appliance by checking the product specification plate.

Before moving, cleaning or maintaining the air conditioner, please switch it off and disconnect the power cord

Do not insert or pull out the power plug with wet hands.

The appliance must only be connected to a 3 pin power outlet with a known good Earth connection.

If the power supply cord is damaged, it must only be replaced by a suitably qualified person or service centre.
If an abnormal condition occurs (such as a burning smell, leakage or erratic operation), disconnect the power cord and contact a suitably qualified person or service centre. -
If the appliance is to be stored or left unattended for long period, the power cord must be disconnected.

Do not splash or pour water onto the appliance, this may result in damage, injury or death.

Operation Introduction for Control

POWER button
Press button can turn on or turn off the air conditioner. -
MODE button
Press button and the mode will circulate according to below sequence: -
TEMP+/ TEMP- button
Press TEMP+ or TEMP- button once to increase or decrease set temperature by 1 ° C. Set temperature range is 16° C – 31 ° C. -
SPEED button Press f button and the fan speed will circulate as below

TIMER button Press button to enter timer setting mode.

Install batteries in remote controller
- Open the back cover and take off the isolating film on the batteries;
- Put the batteries inside the slot with the anode and cathode in the right directions;
- Put on the back cover.
NOTICE
- The anode and cathode of the batteries must correspond to the signs of ” + ” and ” – ” on the remote control;
- Do not use new battery cells with run-down cells together;
- Replace new batteries of the same model when replacement is required;
- When you don’t use remote controller for a long time, please take out the batteries;
- The batteries contain materials, which are hazardous to the environment; they must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped and that they are disposed of safely.
Use of remote controller
To operate the air conditioner, aim the remote controller at the signal receptor. The remote controller will operate the air conditioner at distance of up to 5m (16.4 feet) when pointing at signal receptor of the air conditioner.
Protection
Operating condition
The protective device may trip and stop the appliance in the cases listed
below.

Cooling: Indoor air temperature is over 43°C
Room temperature is below 15°C -
Dehumidifying: Room temperature is below 15°C
If the air conditioner runs in COOLING or DRY mode with door or window opened for a long time when relative humidity is above 80%, dew may drip down from the outlet.
Features of protector
- The protective device will work in the following cases.
- Restarting the unit at once after operation stops or changing mode during operation, you need to wait 3 minutes.
- If the plug is taken out, when you restart the appliance, it will return to the original mode, TIMER ON and TIMER OFF must be set again.
Drain water
Special reminder: There is condensing water recycling hidden within this unit. The condensing water is partly kept recycling between the condenser and the water plate. When the water level rises to the upper level, the float switch and water full indicator (E4) lights on to remind draining water. Please cut off the power supply, move the appliance to a suitable place, remove the drain plug and drain water completely. After the drain, reinstall the plug, or the appliance may leak and make your room wet. If the appliance is placed in a position admitting drain water, you also can connect the drain hose to the drain port to drain water.

Air filter maintenance
It is necessary to clean the air filter after using it for about 100 hours.
Clean it as follows
-
Stop the appliance and remove the air filter.
-
Clean and reinstall the air filter.
If the dirt is conspicuous, wash it with a solution of detergent in lukewarm water. After cleaning, dry it in a shaded and cool place, then reinstall it.

Clean the air filter every two weeks if the air conditioner operates in an extremely dusty environment.
Maintenance after using
- If the appliance will not be used for a long time, be sure to pull the primary and the secondary rubber plug out of the drain port in order to drain the water.
- Keep the appliance running with fan only for a half day during a sunny day to dry the inside of the appliance and prevent it from going mouldy.
- Stop the appliance and pull out the power supply plug, then take out the batteries of the remote controller and store the appliance properly.
- Clean the air filter and reinstall it.
- Remove the air hoses and store them properly, and cover the hole tightly.
The following cases may not always be a malfunction, please check suggestions below before asking for maintenance.

- Air outlet is blocked by obstacle. Take the obstacle away.
Runs but not cooling|
- If the door or window is open.
- If there is another appliance heat-working like heater or lamp etc.
- The air filter is dirty, please clean it.
- Air outlet or intake is blocked.
- Set temperature is too high.
Water leaks during moving|
- Drain the condensate before moving.
- To avoid water leakage, please locate the unit on flat ground.
Does not run and water full indicator”E 4 ,,

- Pull out the rubber plug to drain water.
- • If it is often in this state, please contact qualified professionals.

Preparation before Installation

Selection of installation location
- The appliance is for indoor use only.
- Reserved space around the air conditioner should be 60cm(19½”) at least.
- The air conditioner should only be positioned on a smooth, flat and level surface.
- Please keep air inlet and air outlet clean, no obstacles.
- During operation, close doors and windows to improve cooling effect.
- The route of the heat discharge pipe must remain as straight as possible and without kinks in order to achieve maximum heat discharge.
- The air conditioner should be kept upright at all times. In the event of it tipping or falling over, disconnect the power immediately and contact a suitably qualified person or service centre.
Installation of Heat Discharge Pipe

Extend the heat discharge pipe by drawing out the two ends of the pipe

. Rotate Joint A and Rear clip into the two ends of heat discharge pipe.

Connect Joint A of heat discharge pipe to the unit, then lead the heat discharge pipe out of window.
Using Information
- Keep the unit at least 1m away from TV or radios to avoid electromagnetic interference.
- Do not expose the unit under direct sunlight to avoid surface colour fading.
- Do not tilt the unit for more than 35° or upside-down while transporting.
- Place the unit on a flat surface with less than 5° inclination.
- The unit operates more efficiently in certain room location ( see Technical Specifications).
- Empty the condensed drainage pan before putting the unit in storage to prolong the unit lifetime at the end of the season.
- Do not use chemical solvents (e.g. Benzene) to clean the unit surface to avoid scratching, damaging the surface.
- Make sure to cut off the power before disassembling or installing the air-inlet fence.
- Please empty the water from the water tank if you want to move the unit.
- The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.
- The battery shoud be disposed of safely.
- The plug must be removed before cleaning, maintaining or filling the unit.
