Safety instructions
Safety instructions: Make sure to always wear safety protections when you are working with refrigerant R744. Please note that this tool is for specialized and trained staff only.
- Take the set 8885100176
- Connect the LP coupler 8885400373 to the low pressure side of the hose and the HP 8885400374 to the high pressure side of the hose.
- Connect the adapter 8885400051 3/8-1/4 to the middle connection vac port of the manifold
- Use the adapter 8885400035 on the 8885400051 in case you are using a R134a machine to create vacuum (dismount Schrader valve if installed)
- Use the adapter 4440500008 on the 8885400051in case you are using a R1234yf machine to create vacuum (dismount Schrader valve if installed)
- Follow the car manufacturing instructions to open the electronic valves of the R744 system
Instruction For Use
-
Close all valves of the manifold
-
Connect the LP and HP couplers to the car
-
Open LP and HP valves on the car (couplers)
-
Open LP valve on the manifold
-
Open very slowly the RE valve on the manifold and release the gas
-
Wait until both scales of the manifold are at zero
-
Connect the HP side of the A/C service machine with the manifold in order to create a vacuum
-
Connect the manifold hose with the R744 bottle by using the adapter
-
Place the R744 bottle on the scale
-
Keep the valve of the bottle closed
-
Open the VAC and RE valve on the manifold
-
Turn on the machine for 30 minutes to create a vacuum in the A/C system
-
Close all valves of the manifold
-
Disconnect the hose of the machine from the manifold (VAC port)
-
Disconnect the HP connection from the car (filling only via LP)
-
Open the valve of the R744 bottle
-
Set scale to zero
-
Slowly open the RE valve of the manifold in order to fill the A/C system with the needed amount (in our example we need to fill 420 g, see sticker)
-
Close the LP valve of the manifold when the filling is completed
-
Close the bottle valve
-
Remove the LP coupler from the car
-
Release the rest pressure from the manifold via the vacuum port by opening LP+HP
