Why did the protein powder clump up?
There are five possible causes:
-
The shaking time was not long enough.
-
Too much protein powder or not enough liquid has been added to the bottle.
-
The container of the protein powder was not sealed as it should have been.
Therefore, the protein powder has been exposed to moisture, making it easy to form clumps. -
The liquid that has been added to the bottle was too hot or too cold.
-
The protein powder that has been added to the bottle is prone to clumping.
A greater volume of liquid is required to dissolve whey protein powder.
How can I make a fully-dissolved protein shake?
-
Add water first, then protein powder.
-
The water should be neither too hot nor too cold. Blending protein powder with water that is too hot or too cold can result in clumping or gelatinization.
Water at room temperature (approximately 68°F/20°C) is optimal. -
The ratio of water to powder should be moderate. It is recommended to use one scoop of powder with 175 mL of water. Do not add more than 4 scoops of powder to your xCool Protein Shaker Bottle.
-
After the protein powder is fully dissolved in water, you can add some milk for a better taste.
