B. Users without scooter riding experience, poor physical coordination, should
learn to ride with the assistance of an experienced rider. Please read this
manual carefully before you ride the electric scooter.
C. Children are prohibited from cleaning and maintaining the product without
the supervision of an adult.

Safety Notes
1.1 About safety
For your safety, please learn to ride safely and obey the local rules and laws.
- Please check if the tire is not damaged and if parts are tightened before riding. Please contact your local dealer in case of any unexpected issues.
- Please do not do anything that may harm other people or their properties with the e-scooter.
- Any modification of the e-scooter is prohibited as it will change its performance or damage the structure, which may bring serious injury.
- DO NOT put the electric scooter in water. It may damage the e-scooter, and become a safety hazard for those around it.
1.2 Safety Precautions
Please note that you may lose balance, crash or fall down when you ride an e-scooter. To avoid injury, you should be familiar with this manual and maintain the e-scooter in good condition.

Power Switch: Long press the power button to turn on/off.

Function key:
A: Short press function key: Cycle to switch gears.
Beginner mode: Gear indicator is not displayed.
Normal mode: Gear indicator shows white.
Sports mode: Gear indicator shows red.
B: Shortly press the function key twice to turn on/off the headlights (tail lights are always on). -
Accelerator : Press the acceleration button to start and accelerate.

Brake : Hold the brake handle to brake. Lightly step on the rear fender to assist the brakes.

Cruise mode: Keep the current speed for 6 seconds to enter the cruise mode; Exit the cruise mode by pressing accelerator again or brake.

Battery Instruction
Please use the battery properly according to this instruction to prolong the battery life and its performance.

Do not continue to use the battery when the following conditions occur:
- The battery of the electric scooter should be used only with local law. DO NOT disassemble the battery on your own.
- If an intense odour, excessive heat or leak of a substance occurs; do not touch anything leaking from the battery.
- Do not let children and animals touch the battery. Must unplug the charger before installing the battery or riding.
- Do not modify the charger or battery in any way.
- In order for the electric scooter to run most efficiently, the battery must be charged and used within the temperature range indicated in the battery specifications.
- Lithium batteries are considered dangerous and require local law to allow transportation.
- The battery contains dangerous substances. Please do not open the battery. Do not insert anything into the battery.
- It is forbidden to charge a lithium battery that has been over-discharged. A battery that has been over-discharged is a safety hazard and must be scrapped.
Tip: The internal components of the battery are protected from temperatures exceeding 45 ° C.
Do not charge the battery when the internal temperature exceeds 45 ° C.
Do not charge the battery in a high temperature (40 ° C) environment.
Only use the original charging equipment to charge the electric scooter battery.
4.3 Charging
- Open the charging port cover, Make sure the charging port is clean and dry.
- Connect the charger with the battery and the other end with power(100V-240V;50/60Hz), make sure the charging indicator is on.
- When the charger indicator is red, it will charge normally. Otherwise, please check if the plug is connected properly.
- When the charger indicator is green, charging is complete.

Tips:
Connect the charger to the AC (100V-240V; 50/60Hz) power first. When the green indicator light on the charger is on, please connect it to the battery using the charging cable.
After charging, cover the charging port with the dustproof cap to prevent dust from entering the charging port which may cause battery failure.

Maintenance
Maintenance considerations:
- Make sure the electric scooter charger and charging cable are disconnected and ensure that the electric scooter is off.
- Wipe the frame with a soft cloth to clean the electric scooter. Please do not put more lubricating oil on bearings.
Warning
- It is forbidden to clean the electric scooters using pressure washers or submerging in water. This will cause permanent damage of the electronics in the e-scooter.
Storage
- Please charge your electric scooter fully before storing it over a long period of time. Please ensure to charge at least once every three months.
- If the storage environment temperature is lower than 0 ℃, please do not charge the electric scooter. Please store in a warmer environment (above 10 ℃ ) and then charge, storage temperature must be within range; from 10 ℃ to 35 ℃.
- Please keep the electric scooter in a suitable place indoor, dry and room temperature.
Warning
- In order to protect your safety, do not take apart the electric scooter. Doing otherwise, will render the warranty of the product void automatically.
Troubleshooting
Please contact customer service or your dealer when the electric scooter fails to ride normally.

Product Warranty Card
Please note that warranties covering any part of the JIVR | Scooter Plus may be invalidated by subjecting it to unintended uses or conditions specified earlier in this document.
- One year warranty for the main body including handlebar stem, motor and charger.
- Six month warranty for the battery.
- Plastic decorative covers, rubber handlebar, rear wheel are not in the scope of warranty.
- Components that are subject to wear under normal use are not covered by warranty. This includes tyres, components of the braking mechanism and handlebar grips. Also, cosmetic damage, including, but not limited to scratches and dents, is not covered under warranty.
