Audio Signal Input

Connect the 3.5mm male plug to the output of your smartphone, digital audio player, or music source.
Tip: If you are using a single-ended headphone with a TRS (3-connection) plug, there is no need to switch to SE mode. The iEMatch will automatically convert the signal to single-ended. You can set the switch to BAL or SE with no negative effects. -
If you are using a balanced headphone with a TRRS connection, leave the switch on BAL. In case you encounter a missing channel, please switch to SE mode as your music source only supports single-ended operation.

If you are using a headphone with a microphone, please switch to SE mode. The microphone will be disabled.
Sensitivity Settings
The iEMatch offers two sensitivity settings:
- High: This setting is suitable for high-sensitivity headphones.
- Ultra: This setting is ideal for ultra-sensitivity headphones.
Tip: Feel free to try both settings and determine which one works best with your headphones and listening preferences. For the technically-inclined, the High-sensitivity setting reduces gain by -12dB, while the Ultra- sensitivity setting reduces gain by -24dB.

iEMatch® for headphones/In-Ear-Monitors
- Adjust ‘on-the-go’ the desired volume to ensure a safe, comfortable level of music enjoyment whilst at the same time, enjoying lower background noise and maximum dynamics.
- There are two sensitivity settings:
- High: For high-sensitivity headphones.
- Ultra: For ultra-sensitivity headphones.
Tip: Feel free to try both and see which listening level works best with your headphones and your listening preferences.
- For the technically-inclined, High-sensitivity and Ultra-sensitivity reduce gain by -12dB and -24dB respectively.
- Please note that with the iEMatch® in-line, you are able to turn up the volume on the music source far more. In extreme cases, this may cause the internal amplifier of the music source to enter into ‘clipping mode’ and produce unwanted audio distortion. This is no cause for alarm. If this occurs, please reduce the volume or the sensitivity level of the iEMatch® accordingly.

iFi guarantees that this iFi product shall be free from defects in materials
and workmanship for a period of 1 year for parts and labour.
The warranty period begins at the date of retail sale by an authorized iFi
distributor/dealer and is subject to the following requirements and
understandings:
- It is the responsibility of the buyer within 30 days from the original sale, to register and activate the product warranty with the iFi website.
- The original invoice must be produced for authentication prior to any warranty claim.
- The iFi product must not have been modified in any manner whatsoever, or the warranty will immediately become void.
- The iFi warranty is only valid in the country of original sale.
- The product must not have been stored in a humid environment; nor subjected to weather, water, or saltwater spray.
- iFi shall not, under any circumstances, be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the loss of property or other damage or losses due to the failure of an iFi product. iFi is not liable for loss of use or inconvenience caused by the failure of an iFi product. iFi is not liable for damage caused to other audio components because of the failure of an iFi product.
- During the warranty period, iFi will repair the product to working order, or, at iFi’s option, replace the defective module with a similar available product.
- All repairs performed after expiry of the warranty period will be charged to the owner and will carry a 180-day warranty on parts and labour. The customer is responsible for shipping the unit to the iFi distributor in the original packaging. This includes the payment of any shipping charges and related taxes.
- Should any warranty issues arise, the decision of iFi is full and final.
