Product Information

The Portable Bluetooth Speaker is a versatile device that allows
you to enjoy your favorite music wirelessly. It comes in two
models: PL5 and PL5W. The speaker is equipped with a controller app
that enhances your user experience. The product is designed and
manufactured by LG, a reputable electronics company.

Important Notice

Product Usage Instructions

Charging

To charge the speaker, follow these steps:

  1. Connect the AC Adapter (not supplied) to the power input on the
    rear of the speaker.

  2. The Charging LED will turn red to indicate that the battery is
    being charged.

  3. Once fully charged, the Charging LED will turn green.

Power On / Off

To power on or off the speaker, press the Power button located
on the rear of the speaker.

Battery Status

To check the battery status, hold the Check Battery Status
button for 2 seconds. The Battery LED will indicate the battery
level:

  • Green: 70% or more
  • Amber: 10% or more
  • Blinking red: Battery needs to be charged

Pairing with Mobile Device

To pair your mobile device with the speaker, follow these
steps:

  1. Select LG-PL5(XX) from the device list on your mobile
    device.

  2. The Bluetooth LED on the speaker will blink to indicate pairing
    mode.

Play / Pause

To play or pause the audio, press the Play / Pause button on the
speaker.

Forward Skip

To skip to the next track, press the Forward Skip button on the
speaker.

Backward Skip

To skip to the previous track, press the Backward Skip button on
the speaker.

Receive / Disconnect

To receive or disconnect a call, press the Receive / Disconnect
button on the speaker.

Volume Control

To adjust the volume, press the Volume Up or Volume Down button
on the speaker.

Voice Command

To use voice commands with your smart device, hold the Voice
Command button for 2 seconds.

Mood Light

The speaker has a mood light feature. Press the Mood Light
button to cycle through different modes: Party, Water, Forest, and
JellyBean (Customizing). To enable the JellyBean option, customize
it with the LG XBOOM app.

Sound Effect

The speaker offers a Sound Effect feature. Press the Sound
Effect button to toggle between Standard (Off) and SOUND BOOST
(On).

Dual Mode

To activate Dual Mode, press the Dual button on each speaker.
The Dual Mode LED will blink to indicate activation.

Multi Mode

To select MAIN or OTHER in Multi Mode, press the Multi button on
each speaker.

FAQ

Q: What is the degree of water protection for the speaker?

A: The speaker is water-proof with an IPX5 rating, which means
it is protected against jets of water.
